Among the film versions of the Strugatsky brothers' novels, the most famous film is Stalker. However, these authors wrote not only pure fiction. Another old Soviet detective - "Woman in White" 1981 release. A young artist, Walter Hartright, settles in a rich house as a drawing teacher. There he falls in love with a young girl, but soon she marries Percival Gleid not for love, but at the will of her deceased father. Soon it turns out that the newly-made husband is hiding something.
