To the joy of his parents, Edward Parry entered the institute on (as he himself said in an interview) a hard-to-pronounce specialty. Whom he eventually had to become is unknown, but it is known that the young man, unable to withstand the internal resistance, got up and left once with a lecture and did not return to the institute.

Parents he reassured, saying that he would go to Moscow to study as a stuntman, although he had no idea where to conduct such training. Well-prepared physically, in Moscow, a young man entered the Institute of Physical Education and for a long time engaged in combat combat. Making progress in this direction, Eduard Parry was sent to Austria.

Continuing training in a foreign land and despite the achievements, Edward felt lonely. Once sharply felt loneliness, although Vienna was beautiful and well-groomed, he decided to quit everything and return to his homeland to "kiss his native land." Home Edward Parry came back with one suitcase and a desire to start a new life.

Career filmmaker

The guys even paid a symbolic salary, but Eduard Parry participated in the national theater for no reward. At that time, Indian films were brought to their town, which was impossible to get to, and the theater gave children the opportunity to go to view without hindrance.

The first thing Eduard Parry, who was already more than 25 years old, submitted documents to the VGIK, but there his documents were not even accepted. Fortunately, they let him in for an interview, and there he managed to charm the admission committee. As it turned out, the commission members were Emil Loteanu, Svetlana Surikova, Vladimir Naumov, whose names were known throughout the USSR.

Surikov in conversation asked him about the children, and Edward Parry in paints told how he brings up his sons. It was very funny, and it was accepted.

Emil Loteanu gained a course and became his mentor in directing. The disciples adored the master, Lotyan taught Eduard to love actors: in the cinema, he said, the main thing is the actor, the way he plays the character. The task of the director is to "snatch" pieces of real life from the actor. Emil Vladimirovich said that the director's duty required a certain stiffness, the ability to defend his position, so as not to betray the idea.
