In 1999, the project was finally launched. Moscow fought for the exhibition "Expo 2010", it was necessary to deliver its participants quickly to the venue (to VVC). Although the exhibition eventually took place in another city, the road was built. In 2004 it was put into operation.

A real piece of the monorail, apparently, will remain in the form that exists at the present time.
