The mode of operation of kindergartens by law

Each parent, who has small children, cares about such an important issue as the mode of work of kindergartens. Is the schedule of work in government institutions really observed? Is it different in private organizations? What should I do if a violation was found?

The main mode of work, established at the legislative level

There is a standard mode of work of a kindergarten under the law, which was established by medical specialists and representatives of preschool institutions. In accordance with the charter of the educational organization, there are several characteristics of being in a children's institution:

  • Parents have the right to leave the child in the kindergarten for 12 hours. Different cities have a certain time regime: from 8 am to 8 pm or from 7 am to 7 pm. Exceptions are private and 24-hour kindergartens.
  • On pre-holiday days, the time regime is reduced to 10.5 hours, that is, parents can bring the child to the kindergarten at the usual time, but it should be taken 1.5 hours earlier.
  • On weekends and holidays kindergartens do not work.
  • In some institutions, by agreement of educators and parents, there is an extended day group. That is, parents can leave their baby in kindergarten until 21 hours. On its territory, a single group is organized for children of all ages.
  • There is also a shortened regime of the day, which lasts only 3-4 hours. Usually, for such a period of time, beginners are left who need to adapt.

All this procedure concerns only the stay of children in a pre-school institution, it does not apply to kindergarten workers.

Working hours of the main staff

There is a mode of operation of kindergartens, established for staff. For each of them there is a certain load per week.

For example, the regime of the kindergarten manager is 40 working hours per week. This is a perfectly normal load. That is, such personnel must be present in the pre-school institution and perform their duties five days a week (Monday to Friday), eight hours a day (from 8.00 to 17.00). There is one hour break for lunch (from 12.00 to 13.00).

In some cities, the standard mode can be changed. For example, in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, the main staff of a pre-school institution works from 9.00 to 16.00. The administrator of the institution and the senior teacher have the same work schedule.

Mode of work of educators

The regime of the kindergarten teacher's work differs slightly, its load should not exceed 36 hours per week. Two specialists work in pre-school institutions: the first shift's employee - from 7.00 to 14.30, and the second shift's employee - from 2.30 to 19.00, lunch break for pre-school teachers lasts 30 minutes. As for the work schedule, the teachers work every day with alternating shifts.

Working hours of support staff

It is worth noting that the auxiliary kindergarten also works on the territory of the kindergarten, which makes the children's lives more comfortable, interesting and colorful and provides invaluable assistance to educators. A certain work schedule has also been developed for them.

  • With a load of 40 hours a week, babysitters and younger teachers (from 8.00 to 17.00), cooks and kitchen workers (from 6.00 to 15.00) work.
  • About 20 hours per week in the garden should be the manager, music director, secretary, cleaner, repairman, janitor and loader. Usually such personnel stay in service for 4 hours a week from 8.00 to 12.30 with a break for lunch 30 minutes.
  • Round the clock in the territory of the preschool institution there must be a watchman. He works 24 hours a day with a schedule of work day after three. The minimum number of employees in the state must be four.

It is worth noting that in some institutions the availability of staff, as well as the mode of operation of kindergartens, may differ slightly.

Schedule

Separately it is necessary to talk about the daily routine in the pre-school institution, which every parent should know.

  • During the first hour of the kindergarten, children are admitted. Already arrived kids at this time are engaged in a free activity.
  • At 8.00, breakfast is organized (usually milk dishes).
  • From 8.30 to 9.00, creative classes are held in groups, for example, drawing, modeling or dancing.
  • From 9.20 to 11.20 there is a walk in the open air, this time can vary, depending on the weather conditions.
  • From 11.45 to 12.20 the children have lunch.
  • From 12.45 to 15.00 there is a two-hour quiet hour.
  • At 15.30 the kids go to a mid-afternoon snack.
  • From 15.25 to 16.25 group lessons are provided.
  • From 16.20 to 19.00 children have free time, they all wait for the arrival of their parents. In the summer they walk on the street, in winter they are in groups and play.
  • Dinner is provided at 18.30.

In some preschool institutions, daily activities include a speech therapist, swimming, choreography about many other things.

What should I do if the mode is broken?

The mode of operation of kindergartens, established legally, should be respected. Unfortunately, not all employees of this sphere perform their duties qualitatively. There are the following violations, which can adversely affect children and their parents:

  • The teacher does not come to work on time, because of which the parent is forced to leave his child with a guard or wait, periodically late for work.
  • The educator demands to take away the kid earlier, as does not wish to be to the end of change in establishment because of one child.

According to the law, the educator is obliged to start his duties at 7.00 (or 8.00 depending on the exact schedule), that is, at this time the parent can already leave his baby in the kindergarten. If the tutor is late from time to time, you should record this fact and write a complaint to the name of the manager. At a single delay it is recommended to talk with the teacher orally. If, due to the fault of the caregivers, a person was late for work and received a reprimand for this, he has the right to demand compensation from the educational institution.

With regard to the end of the working day, each parent has the right to leave his child in the institution until 19.00, and the tutor must work until the last child is taken. If the teacher does not wish to perform his duties, then he should be reminded of what is the group's work schedule in the kindergarten, or to hold an oral conversation with him, explaining his own situation at work.
