KrAZ-6322 is a car, the main purpose of which is the transportation of goods and people both on the roads (regardless of their category) and off-road, in addition, it can also be used as an aerodrome tractor for towing aircraft.

The prototype of the truck and the difference from it

Work on a new off-road truck began at the Kremenchug automobile plant in 1990. This car became the continuation of the line of development of the serial KrAZ-260. First of all, the new KrAZ-6322 differs from its prototype by the more powerful YAMZ-238D power plant and an installed corrector that allows the driver to manually regulate the amount of fuel in the intake pipeline, thereby virtually eliminating engine failures at low speeds. In addition, the car increased the fuel reserve, raised the tonnage capacity, improved the speed characteristics. Appearance also did not remain without innovations: changes were made to the feathering of the cabin and the bumper. Serial production of KrAZ trucks of this model was established by the plant in 1993.

The car KrAZ-6322 has a traditional hood layout. The cargo platform mounted on the chassis is made of metal. It provides: a folding tailgate, folding benches for the transport of people, arcs for fastening the waterproof awning. A silencer is excluded from the exhaust system of exhaust gases - a part of the exhaust energy is absorbed by the turbine. Coupling is dry, two-disc. The gearbox is four-speed, having synchronizers for all transmissions, except for the rear. The box is interlocked with a two-stage divider equipped with a pneumatic drive to control transmissions.

"Hand-out" also has two stages, for switching modes, a drive with electropneumatics is used, and an inter-axle differential is also mounted in it . The power steering is installed in the steering.
