The main symptoms of syphilis in women

Syphilis is one of the sexually transmitted infections, the cases of which in recent years began to grow exponentially. The infection of the present disease can be easily with sexual contact without the barrier method of prevention. But the treatment can take a very long time. The first symptoms of syphilis in women can manifest themselves as a few days after sexual intercourse with an infected partner, and after a few months. Untreated disease can progress in the body for a very long time, affecting the internal organs, nervous system and skin of a person.

Symptoms of syphilis in women manifest themselves in a variety of ways, and very much depends on the stage of the disease and what other diseases accompany it. For example, very often he goes unnoticed because the patient is in parallel treated for another ailment, taking antibiotics.

In the first stage, the symptoms of syphilis in women appear in the form of a subcutaneous chancre, which eventually grows in size and becomes like a pigeon egg. At the same time, the patient may experience weakness, dizziness, a slight increase in body temperature and a lack of appetite. All this can be accompanied by an increase in lymph nodes and pain in the muscles and joints. If you do not start the immediate treatment at the stage when the first symptoms of syphilis were detected, there will be a general infection, which is fraught with more serious problems.

The second stage of the disease begins when pale treponema (the causative agent of syphilis) penetrates the blood and spreads throughout the system. Ulcers appear on the mucous membranes and irritations of the skin. In this period, wavy manifestations of the disease are characteristic, i.e. It manifests itself to the full, it calms down. Nausea, weakness, fever, hoarseness - so reveals itself and secondary syphilis (symptoms). Photos of women during this period can show lesions of the skin, accelerated hair loss, unhealthy complexion. In the absence of proper treatment, after a few years, the disease will flow into the last, third stage.

Symptoms of syphilis in women during this period are already irreversible. Affect all internal organs, including the brain, bones, muscles, joints, as well as the nervous system. In this case, the entire skin will be strewn with ulcers and tubercles. The cartilage melts, and the nasal septum may fall. This is the last and most dangerous stage of the disease, which in 99% of cases leads to a decrease in viability and death.

Treatment of syphilis, as a rule, takes a long time and depends, first of all, on the stage of the disease. To avoid such situations, you must follow the precautionary measures. First of all, use condoms during sexual intercourse with unreliable partners. And, of course, undergo regular examinations to identify the disease at an early stage. Be healthy!
