The height of bar counters, how to calculate it
Increasingly, a bar rack can be seen not only in its rightful place - in a drinking establishment - but also in the apartment of the most ordinary citizens. There is nothing strange in the new fashion trend of interior decoration. Designers simply appreciated the functionality of the design, as well as all the opportunities that it has in terms of space organization. For example, there is no better way to draw a line between the living room and the kitchen area if you have a studio apartment.
Let's now digress a bit from the designer's frills and talk about what the height of bar counters should be. There are some standards on this issue. What in general has mankind accumulated in this area? What kind of experience?
But what do we do next, blindly copy the standards or still consider the conditions and features of a normal living room? Do I need to make adjustments? The height of the bar in the apartment ranges from 110 centimeters to 120. But there are no such professional rigor.
First, the ceilings in the room can be quite low. Imagine that you still have a rack "zaderete" nowhere else. The effect of "collapsing" space will work. Secondly, if you have small children, they will certainly try to get on the bar chairs, it is logical to fall from them and earn a portion of bruises. Better not allow this. Well, the third reason to choose a mini-model is the accommodation in the apartment of elderly people. It will be difficult for them to sit down on high chairs.
The height of bar counters for domestic use is chosen individually, taking into account the personal circumstances of each client. And, perhaps, the most rational way is two-level constructions. The low part replaces the dining table, the high serves as a classic counter. The "two in one" approach will not leave the offended.
