The film "Once Upon a Time in the Province": actors showed how they live in remote places

This ambiguous and even very gloomy film by Katya Shagalova came out almost a decade ago - in 2008. It begins and ends with Shatunov's famous song "White Roses", which is very suitable for the mood of the picture. The picture "Once Upon a Time in the Province" strikes with its oppressive atmosphere. The actors played their roles just fine, they created bright and memorable characters. The film is a participant of the 30th Moscow International Film Festival.

The events described in the picture unfold quite quickly, which allows viewers not to be bored, but to watch with interest all the vicissitudes.

Impressions of what is happening

You can call the free interpretation of the play "Tram" Desire "series "Once in the province." Actors and roles played by them, showed the usual provincial backwater. Every hero lives his life, trying not to intersect with his neighbors. Someone sincerely loves, someone desperately hates and even kills, someone is able to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the happiness of a loved one, someone just quietly gets drunk.

The film looks easy, despite a very sad story. After watching, there is some sediment in the soul, because there are thoughts about whether it is really possible to live like this? And its life with all the problems and absurdities seems simple, compared with how the characters live the series "Once Upon a Time in the Province." The actors who acted in the film are familiar to the audience. The role of Nastia was played by Julia Peresild, Faith by Elvira Bolgova, Kolya by Alexander Golubev, Lena by Lyubov Tolkalina, Angela by Natalia Soldatova.

Storyline: the arrival of the sister

The familiar and measured life of a small provincial town changes at a time when Nastia arrives there, the actress of a popular TV series. The star of glossy magazines is no longer needed in the capital, so she had to return to the backwoods to her sister Vera, the only native person. But at home the girl is not very happy, because Vera suffers worries with her husband Kolya. This long-standing conflict of spouses at first prevents to accept the sister and share with her everything that has accumulated in the soul.

Provincial everyday life

Nastya (for her part) was disappointed in life and in herself. But she tries to pull herself together and start over. She has to plunge into life again, where young people are accustomed to gather in the evenings in the courtyard of the hostel, where they constantly drink alcohol and fight. They simply have nothing more to do, no cultural entertainment in this town. At the same time, everyone wants a big and bright love. Everyone lives his secret life. And yet, it's much easier for the townspeople to pretend that nothing happens, even if your best friend has entered into a completely unfriendly relationship with your wife.

With the arrival of Nastya everything seems to explode. Complicated relationships between people are now tense to the limit. Secrets are now common, secrets cease to be secret. All love relationships are aggravated. It seems to people that now everything in their life can change literally. He puts everything on the usual places a random tragedy.

Such unhappy events occur in the tape "Once Upon a Time in the Province." Actors Tried to play this life so that the audience did not have the slightest doubt about the reality of what is happening.

Misunderstanding of freedom

The first thing that catches your eye when watching a movie - despite the cohort of the female part of the cast that is used to see in melodramas, it is not at all "female" - on the contrary, cruel, even brutal. In the series there is an invisible imprint of Balabanov's "Gruz-200", but there is a significant difference: for all its cruelty, Shagalova's film "Once Upon a Time in the Province," whose actors were selected very carefully, can be looked at in one breath.

Provincial town is shown by a living organism, an embodiment of Moloch, which seems to feed on its inhabitants. Since none of the townspeople change anything in their hopeless lives, they choose what to do much easier - they drink. And they drink to the uttermost rejection of everything that happens around. And only then it seems to them that they are free.

But the only thing that free people from the city really - this is from prejudice. Random ties here literally on every corner. But even in this mud of forgetfulness and numbness there is a place of true love, which grows from a relationship of Nastya and Che through a tender flower. The guy is the only one who perceives her not as a sexual object, but as a person. Unfortunately, such beautiful flowers can not last long.

Conclusion

This is what the audience sees "Once Upon a Time in the Province" (film 2009). The actors tried to do everything in their power so that the audience could reflect on the situation, so that everyone who looked at this tape understood that he was able to make his life better. After all, everything is in our hands.

Be that as it may, but the film Once Upon a Time in the Province (actors and roles in this film were very real and reliable) showed that for their cowardice and cowardice, for they did not particularly try to make efforts to change their Life, the townspeople paid a huge and terrible tragedy. And yet, what happened to Nastya and Che did not change the atmosphere of the town in any way. The next day everything began as usual: the workers in a gray crowd walked slowly to the factory, slowly.

To the depths of his soul, he is struck by his gloomy frankness, "Once Upon a Time in the Province." Actors Tried to do everything that depends on them, so that the audience understood that it is impossible to live like this, all (or almost all) in the hands of the person himself. It is he who can at least try to change his life for the better, as far as possible.
