The drug "Ibuprofen" has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, which are associated with the effect on the biosynthesis of prostaglandins. The drug is intended for internal use, is available in the form of tablets (200 milligrams) and suspension.

Medication after the reception is excreted by the kidneys in the form of conjugates, and in part in the unchanged composition. The same amount of the drug two to three times a day is used for stretching ligaments and muscles, inflammation of soft tissues. With a moderate pain syndrome, the drug is drunk 3 times 400 mg each. The daily dose of the drug should not be above 2.4 grams.

For children over 12 years of age, the initial dose of 0.2 ... 0.3 g is prescribed three times a day. After the daily amount of the drug is limited to 0.1 g with the same number of doses. The maximum dose of the medicine should not exceed one gram.

With rheumatoid juvenile arthritis, the drug is given in calculation of 40 mg per kilogram of weight, divided into several receptions.

To reduce the high temperature (39 and above), the drug is taken in the calculation of 10 mg per kilogram of weight, at a lower body temperature, the dose is halved.

For the treatment of children, it is recommended to use a suspension.

During treatment, there may be some negative manifestations from the use of the medication. Some patients experience heartburn, vomiting, nausea, headache, anorexia. On the part of the digestive system, flatulence, diarrhea, or constipation occurs. In some cases, excitement, sleep disturbances are noted.

Side effects can also include skin rashes, allergies, visual impairment and runny nose. Occasionally erosive and ulcerative lesions of the stomach and intestines, bleeding, aseptic meningitis were observed.

It is not recommended to take the drug "Ibuprofen" during pregnancy, it is possible only for medical purposes. The drug is contraindicated in colitis, gastritis, exacerbations of peptic ulcer, with impaired hematopoiesis. It is necessary to use with caution the remedy for violations in the work of kidney and liver, heart and vascular diseases.

Reception is prohibited for optic nerve disorders, intolerance to the organism of components of the drug "Ibuprofen". When breastfeeding, children under six years of age can be prescribed only by a doctor, self-medication is unacceptable.

In cases of overdose, vomiting or nausea occurs, as well as abdominal pain. There may be inhibition, depression and drowsiness, there is noise and pain in the ears.

If excessive intake is necessary to rinse the stomach with water, take activated charcoal, then use alkaline drink.
