Drug "Berodual N" refers to the pharmacological group of combined bronchodilators. The first active ingredient is fenoterol hydrobromide-selective beta-2-adrenomimetic. The second active ingredient is ipratropium bromide-m-cholinoblocker.

The medication is indicated for the treatment and prevention of obstructive pathologies of chronic course with reversible bronchospasm in the respiratory system. The drug is recommended for bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis (obstructive), uncomplicated (or complicated) emphysema.

Patients with six years to eliminate asthma attacks are assigned to two inhalations. If no improvement occurs within five minutes, two more doses are allowed.

When appointing a patient, it is necessary to notify that if there is no therapeutic effect after taking four doses of the drug, "Berodual" should immediately contact the doctor.

For intermittent and prolonged therapy, one to two doses per application are prescribed. In a day, you should not take more than eight inhalations (one to two inhalations three times a day, on average).

When using the drug, headache, mental disorders (in isolated cases), minor tremors, dizziness, nervousness, arrhythmia, increased systolic pressure and a decrease in diastolic pressure may be noted.

In a number of cases, allergic manifestations were noted in the form of itching, rash, angioedema, tongue, and lips.

To adverse reactions include increased sweating, myalgia, convulsive syndrome, retention of urine (reversible).

The drug "Berodual" (reviews of doctors are unambiguous in this) is not prescribed for tachyarrhythmia, in the first trimester of prenatal period, with hypersensitivity, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.

During lactation, the medication should be administered with caution. It was found that one of the active components (fenoterol hydrobromide) penetrates into the milk. At the same time, there is no data on the ability of the second substance (bipropidropium ipratropium) to be excreted with milk.
