Therefore, the enemy could not get close to him.

The Bruno spiral helped its installers destroy the enemy - because in order to overcome it, the infantryman had to make several cuts - and he could only do it standing up - to the defenders of the fence it was not difficult to "take off" his mark with a bullet.

The greatest effectiveness of this invention manifested with the use of machine guns - while the enemy tried to overcome the obstacle, he was shot on the spot. The other tactics showed a little worse: the passages were left in the barrier, which were guarded by soldiers killing everyone who tried to pass.

During the war, the spiral of Bruno had two uses - detention followed by the destruction of the enemy in battle and protection of peaceful settlements. In both cases, its huge advantage was not only the efficiency and complexity of overcoming, but also the speed of installation. This spiral was always ready, stored and transported in folded (folded) form, and if necessary stretched by means of wire and stakes. In addition, its manufacture was also possible in the field - for this, only a barbed wire and sticks of sticks were needed.
