Gas boilers. Types of Heating Boilers

By type used to heat fuel, all boilers are divided into several groups: electric, liquid fuel, solid fuel, gas boilers and combined. This is the basic classification of heating devices, all other methods of systematization depend to some extent on exactly which of the listed varieties belongs to the unit. Solid fuel boilers are one of the most purchased devices. They, according to the type of fuel used, are divided into: coal, pellet and wood. As a rule, they are installed in a country house: this is due to their autonomy and the ability of homeowners to allocate space for fuel storage. They do not need, as, say, an electric boiler protherm, connect to the communication systems, having previously obtained permission for this in the appropriate authorities. Their main drawbacks are the necessity, controlling the strength of the flame, periodically manually loading fuel into the furnace, the need for delivery and storage of large volumes and the inertia of its combustion. On the other hand, solid fuel has a relatively low cost and is available to residents of any regions of the country.

Liquid- fuel boilers run on diesel or fuel oil. As in the first case, for their installation, it is not necessary to obtain permits from municipal services. Their efficiency is high enough - up to 94%, noiseless in operation and autonomous. At the same time, their owner will need to solve the issue of delivering fuel to them. Also the details for these boilers are more expensive than for gas, electric or solid fuel.

Heating units operating on gas are quite popular. This is due to the longevity of their service, economy and ease of operation. Mostly, they work on propane-butane or methane. The gas is continuously supplied, therefore, it is not required to monitor its combustion during the operation of the unit. Thanks to automation, you can easily determine the temperature of the coolant in the heat exchangers, choose the optimal amount of fuel supply, etc. Minus this boiler - you need to get permission to install it. So, it is not enough just to buy gas boilers baxi, as their project documentation should be coordinated with state authorities. Another drawback - there is the possibility of failure of the equipment due to seasonal gas pressure jumps in the pipes. However, these units have a lot of various modifications, so any problems in their selection should not arise.

Electric boilers, thanks to their simple design, are very simple to operate. By type of construction, they are divided into: electrode, TEN and film - a novelty. The costs for their maintenance and repair are very low, and the built-in automation allows them to be regulated with high accuracy. The main flaw in these units is the dependence on the power grid and high power consumption. In addition, the performance of electric boilers is relatively small, so it is recommended to mount them only for heating a small area.

Combined boilers provide the possibility of using several types of fuel - gas and diesel fuel, gas and coal, firewood and coal, etc. They cost more than aggregates that operate only on one type of fuel, but are also used less often. If desired, they can be improved by adapting to various types of fuel. Each of the combined boilers has its own design features, and with them - the pros and cons, but the general drawback of this class of units is the high cost of devices and parts to them. In general, the choice is for the buyer, the "voting ruble" for the boiler belonging to one or another group.
