In the future, the windings of the transformer are reduced to the values required in the operation of certain constituent elements of the electrical device. At the same time, the same transformer makes it possible to obtain several values of the electric current.

A high voltage transformer is a device that does not have any moving elements. Their application is due to the need to convert the magnitude of the alternating current from one to the other, without changing the frequency characteristics. There are three main types of transformers used for this purpose: increasing and decreasing voltage, transmitting electric power of constant current.

To transfer energy over a long distance, the best option is a relatively small current and high voltage, and the energy consumption of the various devices requires a gradual reduction to the required level.

The main elements of the transformers are magnetic-conductor system, cooling circuit and winding.

The combined sets of plates are made of ferromagnetic materials and are magnetic cores. Their main purpose is to localize the main magnetic field. With a small power transformer, its efficiency is up to 96%, and with increased power increases to 99%.

The cooling system for high voltage transformers requires the use of cooling systems to avoid overheating and destruction of the elements of conversion and transmission of energy. In general, an oil cooling system is used that efficiently removes heat.

The consumed value of the power of household or industrial electrical appliances varies widely, for which the transformers carry out its transformation through the secondary winding.

Electricity covers almost all spheres of human activity, and it is not necessary to allow for the violation of safety measures in the handling of electrical appliances, especially those using high voltage. This can have a very negative impact on health, and high-power current damage often leads to death.
