Technoelast EPP - roofing waterproofing material

Tehnoelast EPP is used to create roofing liners for buildings and structures, waterproofing protection of foundations, basements, and other structures that are subject to constant pressure and deformation. It is very durable and elastic.

Technoelast EPG: characteristics

This product is a SBS-modified roofing multifunctional waterproofing material. Its application provides the maximum level of reliability. Technoelast EPP is mounted by fusing. It is a lining material, so the proper arrangement of the roof or waterproofing implies a mandatory overlay of the top layer. The material is very practical in installation and operation.

Waterproofing

Technoelast EPP under loads and pressure is not deformed. The material simply stretches, preserving the integrity of the structure. The fabric does not rot and is resistant to temperature changes. It is designed for waterproofing the following types of objects:

• Swimming pools;
• Garages underground;
• Boiler rooms;
• Industrial and loaded roofs;
• The vaults of the underground;
• Foundations.

This material is perfectly combined with the technoelast EKP (product for creating the outer layer).

Composition

Technoelast is a bituminous material consisting of a polyester base, an astringent layer based on polymers and a special protective film. This canvas can be considered duplicated. On its basis from two sides the composition of bitumen, butadiene-styrene thermoplastic elastomer and filler is applied. The latter also has two-sided protection (polymer film). The base of the canvas is white polyester, which consists of individual fibers. Thanks to it, the technoelast EPP is distinguished by its high strength, resistance to high humidity and atmospheric precipitation. Compared to fiberglass, which stretches only within 2% of its size, polyester is very plastic. Therefore, it is more suitable for operation in conditions of deformations and severe loads. Technoelast EPP - biostable material. From the bottom and from above it is covered with polyethylene film, which protects the web from gluing during transportation or storage in rolls.

Installation

Laying of technoelast EPP is carried out using a gas burner by the method of fusing. All work should be carried out, following the sequence of actions. To begin with, prepare the foundation. It is necessary to remove all rubbish, seal pits and cracks with special repair composition on cement-sandy basis or mastic. Then it is necessary to prime the surface with bitumen-gasoline solution (1: 3) or primer. It must completely dry out. After that, you can start fitting. Rolls are unfolded and laid out on the base to estimate the desired volume for styling. If necessary, you can cut the material with a roofing knife. Then it is rolled into rolls again. For melting, the technoelast and base are heated evenly and simultaneously. The roll is gradually rolled out, and the web is pressed against the surface. It is overlapped (80-100 mm).

Features of waterproofing

Technoelast EPP is a very high-quality and modern material. It has excellent technical characteristics and is relatively cheap. Of course, the price is slightly higher than that of conventional analogs, but this material is very economical, which results in a greater profit. In addition, this waterproofing roofing cloth is much easier and more convenient to stack. And it serves a very long time, which allows you to recoup its value.

This material is supplied in rolls. It is a SBS-modified roofing and waterproofing cloth of increased reliability. The material is used for making roofing carpets, arranging the waterproofing of foundations and other capital constructions with high requirements for reliability. It can be used in all climatic zones. In contrast to the standard type, technoelast-thermo has an increased heat resistance, which significantly increases its service life. When heated, bituminous compounds do not evaporate into the atmosphere. This material is very durable and elastic. Its application ensures the highest reliability and durability of the waterproofing roofing layer.
