Lake Talkas - a paradise in the Urals

Characteristics

The freshwater lake of Talkas is very ancient and was formed as a result of the activity of the volcano, it is located in the Baymak region just four kilometers from the small village of Tubinsky. On the east side the lake is framed by the slopes of the Irenyk ridge, which is 135 meters long, and the maximum height is just under a kilometer (987 meters). On this ridge there is a hill and a small crater. In addition, the volcanic origin of the lake is confirmed by porphyrites, which protrude along the lake's shores to the surface.

The western side of the lake is bounded by an unnamed mountain, on which are located small trees. The other two edges of the Tulkas are gentle and marshy. How to get to Tallkas

As a result, many hours of wandering around nearby villages and villages is fraught with a spoiled mood and shabby nerves.

The easiest option is to go along the route Beloretsk-Ufa. At 30 km from Beloretsk there is a fairly large T-shaped intersection on which the indicator board is located. Legends of Tulkas. The Stone of Bragin.

Like any place popular with tourists and holidaymakers, Lake Talkas has its own legend, according to which more than 200 years ago a certain prince Bragin from Orenburg visited this place. He long wandered around the neighborhood with his armed squad of 30 guard soldiers and brutally oppressed local residents. Without Bragin's permission, it was impossible to bind oneself by the bonds of a legitimate marriage, and if the violent prince was able to achieve agreement, then only on condition that he spends the first three nights with the bride. Resistance, as they say, was useless: all the rebels were hanged or sent to the block.

And only one batyr Amin managed to overcome the persecutor and protect the people. He lurked Bragin in reed beds when he was hunting ducks, and shot him in the chest, piercing the monster through a tight arrow. The same arrow ripped open the boat. And before his death, the prince threw into the water his ring, donated before the queen. Later this ring was found in the pike caught in the lake. Since then the opinion has been circulating that these two lakes are connecting under the mountains.
