Tablets "Tharyngept" - instruction for use

The main component of the "Farinogsept" tablets is ambazone (in the form of ambazone monohydrate). This crystalline substance of dark brown color, poorly soluble in water, is an effective antiseptic. Ambazone is active against pathogens that cause the development of infectious diseases of the upper respiratory tract and oral cavity: hemolytic staphylococcus, streptococcus, pneumococcus. Its use does not adversely affect the intestinal microflora.

In addition to the ambazone, the tablets "Pharyngocept" (the instruction lists all their components) contain auxiliary substances: polyvidone, magnesium stearate (emulsifying additive), cocoa, flavors, as well as sucrose and lactose. The content of the latter components in it can make a difference for patients with diabetes mellitus and those diagnosed with lactose intolerance. All components of the preparation "Pharyngocept", the composition of which must be studied before use, in the presence of individual intolerance can cause an allergic reaction.

Tablets "Tharyngept" are dark brown, they can be without additives or with the taste of lemon. In each of them contains 10 mg of active substance - ambazone monohydrate. The adult dose of the drug is four to five tablets per day, the nursery (for babies from three to seven years old) - three tablets. "Pharyngocept" - this instruction emphasizes - it is necessary to keep in the mouth until it is completely resorbed (due to the fact that the ambazone is poorly soluble in water, this is a fairly long process). Do this no earlier than 15-30 minutes after eating, after which it is desirable not to eat or drink for three hours. Receiving the same drug inside the therapeutic effect will not bring.

Indications for the reception of "Pharyngocept" tablets are, first of all, stomatitis - acute infectious lesions of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity. In dental practice, it is used in the treatment of gingivitis - inflammatory diseases of the gums, the occurrence of which is provoked by a violation of oral hygiene. With the preventive purpose it is used after extraction of teeth and other surgical interventions in the oral cavity.

The use of the drug "Pharyngocept" (the instruction lists all the indications for its administration) gives a good result in the symptomatic treatment of acute pharyngitis (inflammation of the posterior pharyngeal wall) of unspecified etiology. Reviews say that he helps to quickly cope with the manifestations of this disease - pain and inflammation. Painful sensations after its resorption retreat for several hours, and, applying Faringosept at the very beginning of the disease, you can completely avoid its development. This drug helps to quickly get rid of the symptoms of exacerbation of chronic tonsillitis and facilitates the course of the acute form of the disease (agranulocyte angina). Meanwhile, some reviews suggest that there is almost no effect on the treatment of Tharyngept. Of course, curing tonsillitis or severe stomatitis resorption of these pills is problematic - in this case, this drug can be used only as an auxiliary.

To date, there is no information on the negative interaction with other medicinal substances of the tablets for resorption of Tharyngept - the instruction emphasizes this. There are no cases of his overdose. Nevertheless, it is not necessary to increase the dose of this remedy on your own initiative: as indicated in the annotation, this does not improve the effect of the drug. Its optimal concentration in the oral cavity (in the saliva and on the surface of the mucosa) is reached on the third day, and to maintain it enough to dissolve 3-5 tablets a day.

To treat children under three years of age, you should not use Pharyngocept. Contraindications to its use are few, but include the early age of the patient. The duration of taking the drug is usually five days - this is enough to alleviate the symptoms of the disease.
