Option number 1: a solid wooden notebook table with your own hands

Necessary materials:

• Joiner glue.
• Sandpaper.
• Putty or primer.
• Varnish for coating wooden surfaces or paint.
• Hand saw.
• Paint and brush.
• Hammer, nails, screws.
• Sponge or soft rag.

Step 1 . Get a couple of suitable boards in the building materials store or carry out an "audit" in your own garage, for sure there is something suitable there that you can just disassemble and just fit to the right size. Cut slugs: countertop, 4 legs and 4 parts for the "apron", which should be under the table top.

Since the dimensions of the notebooks vary considerably, determine the optimal sizes for your case. We draw your attention to the ratio of the parameters of wooden parts, which should be observed.

• Legs (2 x 2 thick) - each 23 cm in length.
• A pair of long "apron" pieces of 63 cm (1 x 2). Note that the ends of the "apron" are cut at an angle of 45 degrees.
• The side parts of the "apron" (1 x 2) are 28 cm long.
• The tabletop is 66.5 cm long and 30 cm in width.

Step 2 (optional) . You can polish the legs of the product at the edges. There is no special need for this. It's just that they look more aesthetic. In addition, such a table for a laptop in the bed is convenient to put, and there are no rough edges along the edges. If the grinding machine is not available to you, this operation can be done manually.

Step 3. Place the table top face up on the desktop and use the joinery glue to attach all the parts of the apron, one after the other.

Firmly press and leave for twenty minutes "grab".

Tip

It is better to remove the part of matter that has been forced out from under the parts with a sponge or a soft rag until it hardens. Step 7. Sand the table top with sandpaper. It is not recommended to skip this step. So you will save yourself and your loved ones from annoying splinters.

Step 8. If your table top consists of several fitted boards, then it is necessary to prime the surface and after it dries out level the plane with putty.

Step 9. The most pleasant step is painting the product. Color - at your discretion and interior relevance. Do not skimp on the paint, take advantage of quality, which will not allow the appearance of strips and will last as long as you will use the table.

Option number 2: a laptop for the bed

This version of the product for a mobile computer is slightly different from the previous design decision. Instead of a solid table top and legs, the master used racks.

In this case, you can follow the above instructions on how to make a table for a laptop. The sequence of work will be the same. Only the number of parts will increase significantly. But to get them is much easier than a solid board.

Option number 3: "in-zenovski"

It may seem that a folding table for a laptop is difficult to do. But this is a false conclusion. You'll see this as soon as you know what the laptop table is made of. With his hands for half an hour, make it up.

Necessary materials:

• Wooden frame from the old picture suitable for portable device size.
• A piece of plywood of the same parameters as the frame. Actually, you can use the picture if it is written with oil on the hardboard, since I had to tear it off. • Joiner glue.
• A hammer.
• 4 bolts and the same number of nuts.
• Brush and paint or self-adhesive film (optional).
• Hacksaw.

Step 1. If necessary, fix the frame with glue and a suitable size studs.

Step 2. Accurately nail the table top to the "frame-apron".

Step 3. Turn the workpiece over. "Sit down" on the glue, thin, restrictive laths along the perimeter of the table top.

Step 4. Make the table legs in the form of a wide letter "n".

Tip

Saw the tops and bottom of the legs at an angle of 45 degrees. This simple action will force them to stand not straight, but to slide outwards at the edges of the table, which will add stability to the product.

Turn the table top upside down. Use bolts and nuts to install the legs.

Step 5 (optional) . So, your laptop table, made with your own hands, is almost ready. If you have correctly understood and fulfilled everything, then the upper part of your product should consist of three layers: an "apron", actually the countertops of plywood or fiberboard and restrictive rails.

If necessary, before painting, you can primetovat irregularities and ideally level the surface of the putty. In this case, additional time will be required to allow each working layer to dry before final painting. Apply varnish to the side surfaces of the table and legs.

Step 6 (the most creative). Complete the work on manufacturing a table for a laptop in various ways: paint, apply decoupage, laminate, wrap with self-adhesive film, come up with and implement your own version.

The model, which served as a model, is painted in red-orange in color. This contrasts well with the chocolate-coffee table base, giving it a unique "Zen" color.
