Lubricant conductive: recommendations for application

Lubricant conductive is a very important material that is used to eliminate friction between the contacts in the cartridges. Experts argue that for each such device there is a lubricant. Read more about the above substance.

Lubricant current-carrying: application

The above substance is used in almost all cartridges. Its main task is to reduce the level of friction in places of contact of electricity.

Specialists note that it is necessary to use the above substance only in those parts of the machinery where it was originally applied by the manufacturer.

The second task of this lubricant is to provide a better level of conductivity.

It should be noted that some experts believe that a current-conducting lubricant for contacts can increase the charge of the photoconductor and the magnetic shaft. But the recommendations to do so in the event of a problem such as a dark seal, in fact, will not give a positive result. To get rid of a dark image and a dark background in this way is almost impossible.

How to prepare a grease cartridge

When refilling the above element, make sure that all of its electrical contacts are thoroughly cleaned of dirt and old toner. After all, these pollution in most cases are the main reason for not very good charge of the photoconductor and the magnetic shaft.

Cleaning of contacts of the cartridge is carried out with isopropyl alcohol and a usual dry napkin, always lint-free.

The latter should not contain fibers. Also can be used for cleaning and brushes (also lint-free). Special toner-napkins used for this purpose are not recommended. They are impregnated with mineral oil and should be used to clean only the outer parts of the cartridge.

Isopropyl alcohol, which contains more water, leaves the surface to be cleaned, moist for a long time. Therefore, its concentration of 91-99% is ideal for removing contaminants on the inside of the cartridge. Experts warn that it is necessary to apply the above lubricant only on an exceptionally dry surface. Otherwise, there may be a problem with the cartridge.

How to apply the lubricant properly

Lubricant conductive must be used very carefully. It is applied a thin layer, the thickness of which is approximately the thickness of the leaf from the notebook.

As a tool, you can use a wooden brush tip. With its help, it is possible to dose the above lubricant well.

If the conductive lubricant somehow gets to other parts of the cartridge, it may not have a very favorable effect on its operation. Thus, the print quality will deteriorate noticeably. For example, if a small point of the lubricating powder happens to be accidentally on the surface of the PCR, a defect such as repeated black dots will appear.

Specialists note that the above lubricant should be retained on the surface until the next refilling.

Conductive grease for cartridges: application

Specialists note that in no case can not change the lubricant for the cartridge. That is, to a specific model there is a certain substance. The instructions for use show detailed information about the conductive grease for this cartridge.

Only after thorough cleaning of the above element can a lubricant be applied. In the event of a cartridge failure, the conductive lubricant is applied on the same surface as the previous part.

Work with the above material should be carefully. Any negligence in its application can lead to a breakdown of the equipment.
