Suzuki Swift - compact car with a spacious interior

In 2000, the Japanese automobile concern Suzuki launched the Suzuki Swift mini car in production. For 10 years the car went through a full evolutionary period, continuously improving. Currently, the third-generation Suzuki Swift cars, the Suzuki Swift R concept model , shown in the spring of 2010 in Beijing, and another Swift Plug Hybrid concept with a dual power unit, on electric traction and a small turbo diesel engine are being produced.

And finally, the third Suzuki Swift 2011, an experimental model equipped with a variable valve engine in the Dual VVT system, when the camshaft is mechanically displaced. Machines of the second generation Suzuki Swift received an ideally simple engine with a capacity of 69 hp, with an injection injection. Gearboxes were fitted to choose from, five-speed manual or three-speed automatic. The brake system was a two-circuit system with a separation of effort into the contours of the front and rear suspensions. Front wheel brakes - disc, rear - drum. Interior solutions were quite diverse.

Powerlifters with an electric drive were not considered an innovation, but when the machine tested all the mirrors in motion under the influence of electric motors, it was considered a progressive undertaking. The central lock, although not very impressive, was still included in the category of innovations. Suzuki Swift - the car is small, however, the interior is spacious, and it's not a deception, but a real sense of space. The driver's seat is an example of full ergonomics. In a small sector, it was possible to place all the necessary devices, one way or another related to control. Seats, both driver's and passenger's, are made on a spring frame filled with natural materials.

All upholstery of the interior is velor, noise-absorbing, possessing a tactile appeal. Of the useful developments of engineering thought, it is possible to note a sufficiently reliable ABS and an effective power steering. All Suzuki Swift cars of the second generation were assembled at the Hungarian car factory Madyar Suzuki. In 2005, the conveyors of the next, third generation Suzuki Swift, as well as Suzuki Swift Sport. But first new models were shown to Japanese consumers in the fall of 2004. The new Swift was developed already in an international alliance of leading Japanese and European automotive companies. Suzuki Swift third generation was still a compact and well-designed car.

The dimensions of the machine did not go beyond the boundaries reserved for small cars, the length was 3695 mm, width 1890 mm. The design of the Suzuki Swift is noticeably more rounded in comparison with the forms of the exterior of the cars of previous issues. The sides widened, the hood became sloping, and the wheel niches acquired a convex shape. All external attributes, door handles, bumpers, mirrors and brackets were painted with one paint with a body. The model range did not include a single sedan, all cars of the third generation were with a hatchback body. The engines of the cars were not very diverse, there were only three: two petrol, 90 and 104 hp. And one turbodiesel with Common Rail. Cars of all generations of Suzuki Swift, the price of which has always been less affordable, have proven themselves as super-reliable machines that meet safety and environmental standards.
