Central locking

The central lock is a well-established definition of the central locking system for car locks. Its purpose is to simultaneously unlock or lock all the vehicle locks, as well as the fuel cap. This system is usually referred to auxiliary, so-called comfort systems. They also include other functions, for example, heating mirrors, power windows, lighting in the trunk and cabin, electric drive for mirrors and the like. In addition, the comfort system manages the car alarm system. The door locking function can be implemented through centralized and decentralized control, the first of which assumes the presence of a common electronic unit that controls all the doors.

Central locking: device

Like any other device, it also has the main nodes. So, the device of the central lock includes: input sensors, actuators, as well as the central locking control unit. The input sensors in the system are microswitches located in the lock structure, and door limit switches. Microswitches take on the task of fixing the current position of the structural parts of the lock, and the limit switch must fix the current position of the car door, according to which the signal is transferred to the control unit. The task of the two microswitches is to fix the cam position. Installation of the cam mechanism is carried out only on the front doors. When triggered, the first microswitch generates a blocking signal, and the other - unlocks. The other two locks the central locking device, which, when triggered, generates signals about the state of the lock at the current time. And the last one is busy fixing the position of the lever mechanism in the lock drive, which allows him to determine the current location of the door, and when it is opened, the contacts in it are closed, so the central lock can not work.

The electronic control unit receives all the signals supplied by the switches. Then they are transferred to the central control unit, which sends the corresponding signals to the door control units. The actuator is essentially a DC motor combined with a primitive gearbox, by means of which the rotation of the motor is converted into movements of the key cylinder. In addition to the electric drive, the pneumatic drive can be used in the construction of all these devices, which is not currently used. The central lock is in most cases controlled remotely, for which the ignition key has a built-in radio transmitter, and in the central control unit there is a receiving antenna. Management is quite feasible at a distance of up to ten meters.

The central locking system can work both with and without the ignition on. Remotely locking doors is done by pressing the corresponding button, while the signal is transmitted to the antenna. After processing the signal, the control unit transfers the corresponding command to the door control units and other actuators. Remote locking usually activates the alarm. Locked doors automatically open in the event of an accident.

In those cases where the central locking does not work, you need to contact the masters to solve such a problem, since the use of the car may be in question.
