Supervisor is a supervisor and an observer
Mysterious foreign word "supervisor" is often found in the names of vacancies. What is this profession? Its name comes from the English verb supervise - to watch, observe, control, control.
Supervisor is a manager of junior or middle level: he is subordinated to a group that consists of ten to fifteen, less than twenty people. In different companies supervisors are regular or freelance. What are they doing?
They conduct interviews with new employees, establish and maintain personal contact with each of the subordinates, check and evaluate their work, help them to adapt to the team, train and motivate the team, distribute tasks and monitor their timely implementation,
What are the working conditions? Supervisor is not an office worker. In trading, he often controls merchandisers and promoters. In the first case, he not only receives reports from a subordinate, but also visits trade outlets, learns how the goods are sold, and makes sure that it is correctly placed on the shelves. With the promoters, the supervisor also interacts directly on the spot: he follows their activities and teaches to more effectively influence the buyer.
Since this is a traveling job, applicants often require a driver's license and a personal car. However, the company can provide official transport and a mobile phone, and when using its own equipment, it must compensate for expenses. If control over promoters or merchandisers involves trips around the city, then, for example, a drilling supervisor is a shift work.
Supervisor earns an average of 300-500 $ per month.
