So, the fairy tale "Donkey Skin" begins with the fact that there was a king in one kingdom. He was immensely kind and happy, because his wife was the most beautiful woman in the world, and their only daughter was hardly inferior to the mother in beauty and virtue. The kingdom flourished through wise rule. But not only to him, because on one of the stables lived an old donkey, which had a wonderful property - defecating with gold.

Once a misfortune happened - the queen fell seriously ill and soon died. But before she died, she managed to express her last wish. She wanted her husband to marry again, but the main condition was that his chosen one was more beautiful than the queen herself. How many afterwards they searched for a widower a new wife, and they did not find it. But one day he saw his own daughter in the garden, who surpassed her mother in beauty, and, having fallen in love with her, decided to marry her. The girl was shocked by such a wish of her father and asked for help from her godmother - Lilac-Sorceress. She advised her to ask the king an impossible task - to kill the gold-bearing donkey and give her his skin. The princess obeyed and puzzled Papa. He was grieving, but agreed, and soon the donkey's hide lay at the feet of the princess. But the girl did not want to give up and marry her father, because it's a big sin. Therefore, she again, on the advice of the godfather, put this skin on herself, smeared with mud and escaped from the palace at night.

In this form, she wandered around the city, until the good people warmed her, taking to work on the farmyard. Behind her was nicknamed "Donkey's Skin", so she was black and scary. But one day she decided to transform herself back into a princess and, locked in her closet, tapped the floor with a magic wand that gave her a godmother before she escaped. Immediately before her appeared a chest with her beautiful clothes. The girl washed, combed her hair, changed her clothes and began to show off in front of the mirror. The prince, who was staying with the owners, who had the Donkey Skull working, accidentally saw her in the keyhole and fell in love. Returning from the guests home, he fell ill and said that it would save only the pie, which will cook a girl who lives in a closet at such and such people. They brought this message to Zamarashka and told him to bake a cake. She was delighted and, again dressed in her luxurious clothes, locked herself in and began to cook. But she accidentally dropped her ring in the dough, which the prince discovered when he ate the pie.

He announced that he would marry that girl, to whom the ringlet would fit, regardless of whether she was a princess or a beggar. Many girls flocked to the fitting - everyone wanted to become such a handsome wife. The donkey skin was forcibly led, although she managed to change into her usual luxurious clothes when she heard a knock on her door. Over the beautiful dress, she threw a donkey skin and went to the palace, accompanied by laughing guards. The prince put a ring on her finger, and it fit her right. Then she threw off her hideous hide and appeared before everyone in all its glory. Soon, a wedding was played, to which the girl's father was invited. It turned out that while his daughter was away, he managed to marry a beautiful widow - the queen of a neighboring country, so now he was very happy for his daughter and blessed her marriage with the prince. That's how the fairy-tale of S. Perrault "The Donkey's Skin" ended happily.
