The abundance of vegetables makes it possible to please the family with a mass of unexpected, piquant and simply original dishes. Enormous space for imagination gives in this respect pea pods. From it you can build an unimaginable variety of different dishes: from snacks to full lunches. Both nutritious, and fragrant, and insanely delicious. Okroshki and botnitniki - it's good and tasty, but quite monotonous. It's time to remember about pea pods and build from it a light first dish. Pre-have to cook a little less than a liter of vegetable broth. At the time of creating the masterpiece, a generous bunch of sorrel, a little leeks and four sprigs of mint are washed. The greens are required to crumble. Half a pea of peas is washed: if the tips are firm, they need to be cut off. In the oil, a green onion with two chopped garlic cloves is fried. Then broth is poured in. When it boils, pods are pawned and slowly boiled for ten minutes. The rest of the greens are then introduced. The soup is cooked for three minutes, is carried through a blender, peppered and salted. After a good cooling, it is served to eaters with the addition of sour cream.

A wonderful casserole

To any dish, pea pod cooked with other delicious vegetables perfectly suits. This dish does not require either high cooking skills or intricate ingredients. On a greased baking sheet, young pods are laid out and slightly greased. They are placed halves or plates of garlic. Then go the circles of tomatoes, and the top layer will be slices of salted and fried potatoes. For juiciness, a ladle of broth is poured into the pan. Recommended chicken, but with the vegetable will be quite good. The sheet is cleaned for a third of an hour in the oven, and for about five minutes before it is extracted the casserole is sprinkled with grated cheese. Nobody will refuse this garnish. Moreover, those sitting at the table will also ask for supplements!

And without salad we will not stay

No menu can be considered full, if next to the main dish is not at least a small salad bowl. And in the midst of the vegetable season, it must contain pea pods. Pretty appetizing salad will be prepared this way.

Pods of peas, cleaned and washed, are covered with boiling water. White asparagus gets rid of rhizomes, scalded and cut. Bulgarian peppers and heads of broccoli crumbled, coated with sunflower oil and baked on the grill. All this is combined in a salad bowl, flavored with soybean sprouts and a lot of chopped greens. For refueling, combine the oil (olive), salt, pressed garlic and pepper.
