Spirya Vangutta - garden decoration

Spirya Vangutta is an ornament of any garden or courtyard, thanks to its splendor and dazzling white flowers. It fits well with other members of the garden, can also be part of a hedge or act as an independent plant. Spirya Vangutta has interesting leaves, which are dark green on the outside, and the inner side of the leaf is much lighter. Closer to autumn the plant is covered with beautiful decorative fruits. Spirya Vangutta grows very quickly, it is unpretentious, well tolerates cold winters, in case of damage it has the property of quickly recovering, and in the summer this shrub is an excellent honey.

To obtain this type of plant crossed Cantonese and trilobate spirea. Usually spirea ivolistnaya reaches a height of up to two meters and the same size reaches the girth of its crown, the branches hang, resembling a willow, due to which it received such a name. Blossoms this plant in early summer, while almost the entire surface is covered with small white flowers. If favorable conditions are created, spirya vangutta can blossom throughout the season repeatedly, though not as violently as the first time.

Usually the traditional color of the flowers is white, but modern varieties have a wide palette of pink, which looks even more impressive.

In landscape design, billiard spirea is used to create hedges. They can be used in natural compositions in which the shrubbery grows freely, it also lends itself well to haircut, it allows to form the necessary figures.

Very beautiful spiraea looks in compositions with other plants, for example with coniferous trees. In this case, it serves as their frame and looks no less spectacular. Having a resemblance to willows, spiroe looks great near water bodies.

Vangutta's spirea has a cascade crown and therefore looks good as a solitary plant in the middle of a large flower bed or clearing in a composition with ground cover plants. Also, its inflorescence is widely used in the formation of bouquets, and in addition, they can act as independent flowers.

Although this plant tolerates shaded areas well, but still more abundant flowering occurs in plants that grow in well-lit areas. For the full development of spiraea it is better to use sandy soils, but as a whole to the composition of the soil it is unpretentious and quite well feels both on wet and lean soils. This species also feels great in a large city, as it is not sensitive to pollution and smog.

Planting spiraea is better to spend in the autumn period, it is necessary in order to have a powerful root system to form and an earlier flowering began. Once the plant discards the leaves, you can proceed with its transplantation. If you got seedlings that have an open root system, you need to inspect it and remove very long and damaged roots. In the event that the seedlings are in a container, do not damage the earth clod and land with it.

When forming a pit for planting, it is necessary to add a minimum of 20 centimeters to the volume of rhizomes, and also to provide good drainage. After planting the plant, the ground is rammed and abundantly watered.

To fully develop the spire, regular, but not very abundant watering is needed. It is also necessary to inspect the crown of the plant and carry out its pruning. In autumn Spiraga Vangutta undergoes mandatory circumcision of the crown, which is not necessary for other varieties of this species. A signal that indicates the need for cardinal trimming is the weakening of flowering. For a healthy plant, it is enough to feed one time a year, do it better in the spring.
