Simple dishes made from thin Armenian lavash are prepared very quickly, but they are always delicious and satisfying. Depending on the ingredients used, lavash snacks will be appropriate for a regular family dinner, a picnic with friends, and a festive occasion.

If you put very little effort, and also to show imagination, even the most simple appetizers of lavash can be turned into a real culinary masterpiece.

Festive appetizer of pita bread with red fish

Red fish - it is always delicious, and if you put it as a stuffing of rolls from lavash, it will still be very beautiful, elegant and festive!

Ingredients:

Lightly salted red fish (salmon, trout or pink salmon) - 100 g,

Lavash - 4 pcs.,

Cream cheese - 70 grams,

Lettuce green - 4-5 leaves,

Bulgarian pepper (bright yellow) - 1 pc.

Cooking method:

Lavash cut in half. Cover one half with soft cheese, cover with lettuce leaves, and put Bulgarian pepper into pieces. Cover the top with the second half of the pita bread, previously greased with cheese, then put salad leaves on top, and on them - thin slices of red fish. All the layers carefully folded into a tight roll and send for an hour in the fridge. Before you submit a large roll to the table, you need to cut its pieces of 3 cm.

The resulting rolls, thanks to multi-colored ingredients: red fish, green salad and yellow pepper - are bright and very appetizing!

Crispy strawberries from lavash

This version of a hot appetizer from lavash is prepared quickly, but looks extremely unusual and appetizing. These original crispy straws filled with minced meat will be especially liked by fans of chebureks and fried pies.

Ingredients:

Lavash - 1 pack,

Minced meat from any meat - 600 grams,

Hard cheese - 160 grams,

Raw egg - 2 pcs.,

Green onion - ½ beam,

Vinegar (preferably apple) - ½ tsp,

Greens - ½ pencil,

Spices - to taste,

Any vegetable oil (olive, for example) - 3 tbsp.

Cooking method:

Fry the minced meat and mix it with finely chopped greens and green onions, sprinkle with apple cider vinegar. Add to the mass of grated cheese and two egg yolks, salt and pepper to taste. The resulting filling is thoroughly mixed.

Lavashi cut into four parts, so that each of the pita turned into 4 triangles (more precisely, the sector). For each triangle we lay out the meat filling and tightly twist our tubes so that they do not unfold. The edges of the pita should be greased with egg whites.

Tube fry in a pan with olive oil until the appearance of an appetizing characteristic crust. Then, to get rid of excess oil, we soak them with paper towels.

To eat crispy tubules it is better hot, having seasoned with mayonnaise, sour cream or ketchup.

Convertible pita bread with melted cheese and walnuts

Very tasty piquant lavash appetizers , the recipes of which are given here, will be an excellent addition to a kebab during a picnic in the fresh air.

Ingredients:

Thin lavash - 3 pcs.,

Raw cream cheese - 1 patch.,

Boiled chicken eggs - 3 pcs.,

Garlic - 3-4 denticles,

Salt, pepper - add, if desired,

Walnuts - ¼ st,

Mayonnaise - 120 g,

Green onion - 1/2 beam,

Fresh dill - 1 bunch.

Cooking method:

We do first of all stuffing for our envelopes. To do this, knead the fork with cheese and mix it with chopped boiled eggs, crushed walnuts, passed through a special press with garlic, and also with finely chopped dill. We fill the resulting mixture with mayonnaise, season with spices.

Lavash is cut in half, slightly lubricated with mayonnaise. Then we put on top of it one large spoon of filling and then turn into a neat envelope. We tie them crosswise with the feathers of a green onion and decorate with dill sprigs. Our delicious envelopes are ready!
