Assembling a wardrobe in a small apartment

As for the assembly of such models - please note that manufacturers extend the warranty on the product only under the condition of assembly by the company's specialists, therefore it is recommended to buy a radial cabinet together with the assembly. Unlike radial, to assemble a cabinet of a coupe of the classical model is quite possible independently.

How is the assembly of the wardrobe in a small one-room apartment? I want to share my experience.

The main condition: the assembly of the cabinet of the compartment will pass quickly and without reworking, if the order of door installation is observed (after the case of the cabinet is already assembled).

In what sequence are the doors assembled?
Step-by-step instruction:
1. First, the upper rail for the door rollers is screwed to the cabinet cover, level with the front part of the side rack of the cabinet.
2. At the bottom of the cabinet is put the lower rail without screwing.
3. The door is inserted first into the upper rail, and you need to tilt the door slightly. Then to the bottom, it is necessary to preload the fingers of the wheels on the lower edge of the door. Wheels are fixed on the spring, so they can be easily applied.
4. We achieve verticality of the door - if you look at the cabinet from the side, it should be vertically level. We screw the lower rail along the edges, once again we check the installation, rolling the door from place to place, if necessary, correct and fix the rail permanently. If the mounting holes are not available, you can drill new ones, or you can mark the position of the lower rails with a pencil, remove the door, fasten the rail, put the door in place.
5. Install the second door and adjust the position of all doors.
Before assembling the cabinet, if you have a parquet or a laminate, place a soft material under the cabinet for sliding, like felt - so that when you move the cabinet to the wall, do not scratch the floor.
Naturally, in small apartments because of a lack of free space on the floor, the frame of the cabinet needs to be assembled standing up.

In what order is the assembly of the compartment in the standing position?

• First fix the side walls. Support of the assistant is desirable. The wardrobe will be able to collect and one person, but together it will be much faster.
• Securing the roof.
• Next - the rear wall, which consists of separate sheets of fiberboard. We fasten the right and left sheet. The cabinet should turn out to be rectangular. The rectangles of the cabinet are checked by placing a shelf in the corner, all the corners are straight at the shelves.
• Then the partitions are installed, and the rear wall is finally fixed. Corners need to be screwed to the posts and partitions beforehand, when they are still lying.
• The cabinet moves to the wall and, preferably, is attached to it by a corner. If the cabinet with the rear wall, then mount it to the wall is not necessary.
• The final stage is the installation of doors and internal filling. Shelves are marked on one side, the second is fixed, setting a level on the shelf (the corners to the shelves must be bolted in advance).
If the cabinet has special adjustable legs, then in the kit there must be a podium that is leveled, and then it is fastened to the racks, shelves and everything else.
If in your apartment between the floor and the wall are not right angles, then with a small slit you can leave everything as is. If the difference is large, then the wall needs to be straightened (for repair). A simpler version of alignment is to mow the podium to the desired angle.
