"Sermion": instructions for use, dosage, properties

The drug "Sermion" - what is it?

  • Hypertensive crises, as an additional therapeutic agent.

Dosing and the order of admission is always determined by the doctor. As a rule, the course of treatment is no more than three months. The patient takes one tablet three times a day. The solution can be administered intramuscularly, or intravenously by a medical worker as directed by a doctor.

Contraindications

The solution and tablets "Sermion" have their contraindications. Among them:

  • Sensitivity to the components of the drug;
  • Postinfarction (myocardial infarction);
  • Bleeding;
  • Bradycardia;
  • Disorders and failures in orthostatic regulation.

In addition, the drug "Sermion" is not used in pregnancy, as well as with lactation. Its appointment in these periods can be dictated only by the need for urgent assistance to a woman.

Side effects

What negative changes in the body can cause the drug "Sermion"? The instructions for use, among others, contain an indication of:

  • Sleep disturbance, as well as pronounced drowsiness;
  • Increased concentration in urine acid;
  • Dizziness;
  • Increased blood pressure;
  • Dermatitis of allergic origin;
  • heat;
  • Phenomena of a dyspeptic nature.

Laboratory and clinical studies of the drug confirmed that if the dosage is observed and the doctor observes, the side effects are either not manifested at all, or are expressed weakly and are easily eliminated.

Storage conditions

Storage conditions differ little from other drugs. "Sermion", the instruction for use is always present in each package, stored at room temperature, in the dark, in places inaccessible to animals and children. The manufacturer has a shelf life of thirty-six months.

Are there any special instructions?

"Sermion" refers to drugs whose active substance is metabolized under the influence of one of the enzymes called cytochrome CYP450 2D6. Since this enzyme is involved in metabolic processes and with other drugs, it should be carefully combined with it.
