In the Republic of Abkhazia, Grebeshok is a small village, beautifully stretched on the rocks of the Gagra mountain range. It is located on the territory of the same name region. In July and August - a hot season in the Republic of Abkhazia. The comb is no exception. This is a real peak of heat. The sun is scorching, the water is boiling, it's cool only in the shade.

By the middle of the first academic month in the Republic of Abkhazia (Grebeshok), the heat and the number of vacationers are dropping. Again it becomes quiet, cozy and comfortable. The day is still quite hot, and in the evenings I want to wrap myself in a blanket.

As for clothes, the secret rule of the inhabitants of the republic strongly recommends that swimwear, shorts, tops be worn exclusively on the beach. In the cities, towns, shops, banks and especially places of historical importance, it is necessary to wear appropriate clothing. And if you go to the mountains, you need to take care of warm clothes.

Perfect privacy

Little-known place gives the opportunity to quietly and solutely rest. It seems like only five kilometers to the city of Gagra and 15 to the border, and there are few tourists here.

Affordable rest

After a noisy city here is deserted, and the silence just rings in your ears. In the Republic of Abkhazia (Grebeshok), the private sector pleasantly pleases with prices and hospitality. For the convenience of tourists in the village there are not only guest houses and houses on the turn-key basis, but also quite inexpensive beds in the private sector.

And if you want to relax from the beach, you can wander around the neighborhood. For example, to examine the mysterious castle of Prince Oldenburg (he is more than a hundred years old). In general, the Gagra district is rich in interesting places of rest, where you can go and with children. What is worth, for example, a trip to Lake Ritsa or an excursion to the famous restaurant "Gagripsh"! It is assembled, as a designer, - there is not a single nail in it! After the inspection, you can taste delicious and inexpensive.

Gegsky waterfall is not Victoria, of course, but the spectacle is amazing. The blue lake with a covered cafe on the water, the cave of St. Hypatia. It is in the gorge of the river Tsikherva and is made by the hands of a man. It is believed that it had many rooms, but today only three are open, the rest are covered. In the troubled times of persecution of Orthodox Christians in the cave, Bishop Hypatius of Gagra hid.

The excursion to the Colonnade fascinates both children and adults. It consists of four towers, which are connected by small arcades. The total length of the complex is more than 60 m. Today it is one of the most visited places in the city of Gagra. From the Colonnade offers a stunning view of the entire city beach. In the left part of the viewing complex there is an entrance to the Seaside Park. Directly in front of the colonnade is the now abandoned building of the cinema. To do this, you need to transfer the amount of the deposit - usually the daily cost of the selected apartments for the number - to the offered electronic purses or bank accounts of the owners. The finished form is on the site of this or that guest house. After confirmation by the owners of the receipt of funds, the number is booked. Here, the owners of the rooms are asked to take into account that the deposit does not return, whatever the reasons. But it is necessarily subtracted from the final amount for accommodation and meals.

Reservation for rooms is held until 23:59 of the agreed check-in day, unless other conditions are stipulated with the hostess.
