Its address can be found in the article below. At the moment the academy consists of 24 central sections, more than 100 thematic and regional branches, united in eight blocks of scientific centers.

Compared with the RAS, the RANS is distinguished by an easier promotion of scientific works (there is a register of discoveries, which are confirmed by their own diplomas). Under the auspices of this institution, it is often necessary to work scientists who have encountered problems in official science. The RANS is also actively used for the development of alternative directions not officially recognized by the world community. In particular, they include alternative medicine.

In 2002, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences received the authority of a non-governmental organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. This status provided access to UN documentation and participation in ECOSOC consultations and conferences. But his receipt did not imply the inclusion of the Academy in the UN system. Members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the organization itself have not acquired rights to any immunities or privileges. In 2003, the list of members of the Academy was up to 4 thousand people. In the same year in the building of Moscow University. M.V. European Academy

EAEN (European Academy of Natural Sciences) is one of the projects of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The public organization, established in 2002 in Hanover (Germany), has about 35 branches, including in the Russian Federation.

Annually EAEN conducts Euro-ECO and Euromedica conferences, in the words of their opponents, "positioned as scientific". They usually include hearing for 2 days of scientific reports and a 3-day tourist bus trip. In addition, the organization is engaged in publishing activities, it issues patents and diplomas. A significant part of the EAEN staff is mercilessly criticized by various authoritative scientific organizations, in particular the Russian Academy of Sciences. They are regarded as representatives of non-academic trends. Most of them are members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

The President of the European Academy is Professor Tyminsky VG, Ph.D., candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, one of the organizers and co-founders of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Vice President for Germany is Professor H. Khan, Director of the Institute of Immunology (Berlin). He also serves as President of the R. Koch Medical Society. Vice-president for the CIS is RG Melik-Ogandzhanyan, professor, deputy editor of the journal MAPO "Alternative Medicine", president of the Armenian branch of the Academy.

Criticism

The Academy of Natural Sciences of the Russian Federation (RANS) has been subjected to merciless criticism from a number of academicians and members of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Thus, Yu.N. Efremov, Yu.S. Osipov, V.L. Ginzburg believe that among the members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences there are people with inadequate education, far from science and not having officially recognized works. For example, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kruglyakov EP It is stated that the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Russian Federation, "in addition to really respected and well-deserved scientists", contains "rascals" in its composition.

Academician and President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Osipov Yu.S. Noted that some time ago the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences was invited "to its members", consisting of "dubious academies", to withdraw from them. But many this call was ignored.

V.L. Ginzburg, academician and Nobel laureate, believed that the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences - "pseudoscience in its incarnation." Prominent scientist believed that in this "voluntary organization" are those "who are not honored to be selected in the RAS."

The RANS is also criticized for cases of sale of membership without proper due diligence.

As a result of the ease with which ranks in the RANS are conferred, a chain reaction of reproduction of the Academia has emerged, scientists note. So, in 2005 the Academy of Fundamental Sciences of Organism was organized, most of which are academics of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The institution proclaimed the creation of a "new fundamental science" - an organism that establishes the basic principle of building world objects and revises such modern key concepts as "matter", "energy", "mass". This science gives them a new meaning and gives them new opportunities.

In the academic world it is believed that the efforts of members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences are discrediting the very title of "academician".

Scandals

Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Velikhov EP Was rejected proposal to run for RANS. They were given a condition that the academy should officially answer the question: Does it consider it permissible to support scientists trying to extract energy from the vacuum? As the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Kruglyakov EP says, the question was not awarded with an answer.

In 2006, AV Lagutkin, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Was handed to R. Kadyrov. (Deputy Prime Minister, and subsequently to the President of the Chechen Republic) diploma of honorary member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. To congratulate him on conferring the title of "Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences", the scientist personally arrived in Gudermes. In addition, the event was marked by the presentation of a memorable silver sign to Kadyrov. In an interview with ESQUIRE magazine Academician Ginzburg VL (Now deceased) commented on this event, calling it "sad and funny."

Academician Kapitza S.P. In his speech on Ekho Moskvy also gave his comments, saying that he personally actively opposed the adoption of Kadyrov RA. In the RANS. He also said that, to the best of his knowledge, this decision was made under great pressure.

In 2006, the academy medal "For outstanding scientific achievements in the field of noospheric technologies" was presented to the scandalously known charlatan Levashov N.V.

Russian Academy of Sciences: reviews

A number of authoritative sources emphasize that there are huge differences between the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Russian Academy of Sciences. They stipulate that, if the title is similar, the difference between the organizations only at first glance may seem insignificant to someone. In fact, it is fundamental - it is the difference between public and scientific organizations.

The Internet is sharply exposed to ridicule "pseudoscientific", according to users, the ideas of some members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences:

  • Creation of the first torsion unit on a commercial basis (AA Akimov, GI Shipov).
  • Creation of the "occult" theory of the wave genome (PP Garyaev). Its author, users who consider themselves involved in true science, are reproached for esoteric studies - he allegedly "eats up" on the field of healing.
  • Attempts to resurrect the dead (Grabovoi GP). "Scientist" is also known for being convicted of fraud and sentenced to imprisonment (8 years).
  • Attempts to assert that the inhabitants of the North American continent 80 thousand years ago knew the Russian spoken language and writing (Chudinov VA). The author of the idea was able to read Russian inscriptions on the Moon, at the bottom of the ocean, on the Sun, on Mars and even on the posthumous mask of the great Pushkin. "Researcher," according to the reviews, actively travels with tours around universities and academies.
  • Attempts to create a panacea for all kinds of cancer (Kutushov MV).
  • Creation of information-energy teaching, allowing to conduct mass miracle healings with the use of portraits of the healer (Konovalov SS).
  • Creation of pseudoscientific astrological system of "structural horoscope", the statement that astrology is a science (Kvasha GS).

There are allegations on the web that it is very easy to get the title of academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, therefore among its members, according to the authors of the reviews, there are a lot of "obscurantism" in the large number that were not allowed in the RAS. In fairness, the authors of the reviews nevertheless specify that there are also "decent scientists" in the RANS. But mostly those who "do not hesitate to treat any pseudo-scientific party" come into the organization. RANS is "a diagnosis," some users say, and for their reputation in the scientific world, they think it's better to go to janitors, wave a broom or collect bottles than enroll in academics of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.

According to the authors of the reviews, some honorary members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences do not even suspect that they are members of this organization. They were introduced into the composition in absentia for advertising. Too bad, some users believe, that the majority of the Russian population does not understand "in all these academies." Often, RANS is perceived as a decent scientific organization. Or, in general, many confuse it with the RAS. Unfortunately, users write, this reduces the value of real science in the eyes of compatriots, undermines the credibility of its representatives. Some Web users believe that the very existence of RANS scandals the Russian society. Many people oppose that this organization is called an academy, and its members enjoyed the status of academicians, as this misleads people.

Their opponents argue that it is also world practice to create privately in addition to authoritative state academies. Scientists have the right to do so. And if in Russia they are not accustomed to this, it is not a reason to deny the right to be considered academicians members of public academies of science. Many people emphasize that the RANS is not recognized as a pseudoscientific organization. The fact that the RAS is recognized as pseudo-scientific works of some members of the scandalous academy does not justify considering the whole organization pseudoscientific. In the RANS, note the authors of the reviews, academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as other branch state academies, are members. This must be taken into account.
