Rubbing new shoes? Use these tricky tips

Buying new shoes, men and women often face a common problem - friction. Regardless of how comfortable this pair seemed to you at the time of fitting, once you start wearing it, your poor legs suffer.

Probably, it is difficult to find someone who was not familiar with this problem, so we decided to put an end to suffering and pain. Our tips will help you to enjoy new shoes, as if it was made especially for you!

1. Classic plasters

This is very common and obvious advice: try using old good patches. They will help prevent friction, eliminate it and thus relieve you from the appearance of blisters, especially if you wear heels. Make sure that the patch is slightly larger than the friction zone so that it does not move.

2. Talc

Talc can reduce the frictional force on the surface of the foot. Apply a little powder on your feet before putting on your shoes. If this time you are going to do without socks, make sure that your feet are not wet.

3. Thick socks

Put on a pair of thick socks and your favorite shoes. Then heat the hard parts of the shoes. Do not go until it completely cools, and if necessary, repeat. The material from which the shoes were made will begin to expand from the heat and become more flexible and soft. Note that this trick only works with natural material, such as leather.

4. Deodorant

The borders of the foot, heel bones and toes often suffer in new shoes. To eliminate the friction that appears between the boot and your foot, apply deodorant to the problem areas.

5. Silicone insoles

These protectors can be found in pharmacies, orthopedic stores and even on the Internet. They have different shapes (full-size insole or partial), so you can adapt them to your problem areas.

6. Ice

Fill the plastic bag with water and put it in the shoes. Keep it in the freezer for the night. In the morning, after defrosting, you will notice that the shoes are wider.

7. Alcohol and paper

Spray a sufficient amount of alcohol on hard-to-reach places inside the shoes so that they are wet. Then fill the shoes with crumpled paper and leave overnight. The more paper you use, the better results you get. In the morning it should be removed and the shoes worn for a while.

8. Moisturizing cream

This method works only for shoes made of genuine leather. Apply moisturizer inside, paying attention to the heel and toe. The cream will soften the skin, and when you start wearing the shoes the next day, its shape adapts to your feet.

9. Potatoes

This trick will help to expand new sneakers and even moccasins. Put the clean potatoes inside the shoes and leave it overnight. As a rule, the potato leaves no smell, so in the morning you will only have to wipe the shoes with a damp cloth.

10. Services of the shoemaker

This is probably the most reliable option. Most shoemakers have special devices with which you can modify the shoes, for example, stretch so that it no longer rubs the skin. As a result, you can wear your favorite shoes without discomfort.
