"The guy from our cemetery" (actors: A.Pal, I.Zhizhikin, V.Sychev, A.Ilyin, K.Kazinskaya, P.Shashuro) is a comedic horror of 2015 about the dead, existing "according to concepts". Rarity in the domestic cinema

Fertile soil of all dark supernatural matter: mysticism, death, horror, fear, nightmare - on which the masterpieces of American, Roman, but especially Korean and Japanese cinema culture flourish, is not fully developed in Russia. This is especially understandable if we take into account the world trend of zombie horror, which, because of its frequency of use, exhausted its terrifying potential and began drifting towards comedy, then the appearance of the Chizhikovs project in this format is entirely logical.

Plot

The film "The guy from our cemetery" in the plot plan surprisingly correctly maneuvers between comedy and horror, ironically and frightening at the same time, but at the same time not abusing complex structural constructions, gradually stealing on the beaten path of bandit cinema. The protagonist is a guy from the deep province of Kolya, in order to pay off debts and earn money to repair a grandmother's house, he comes to a relative in the capital. Vasily Ivanovich, the uncle of the hero, arranges him for a position that the people consider to be profitable, a security guard in a secluded country cottage pogost. But the ostentatious humility of the cemetery appears to be imaginary. For a short period of time, five guards, the forerunners of the protagonist, fled from work in clear clouding of reason. In the daytime, bustling visitors of various stripes were surely bringing them trouble, and with the onset of darkness frightening figures in their long robe wandered among the tombstones. Also among local persistent rumors are circulating about successfully operating in the nearby neighborhood of a psychopathic maniac who arranged himself a den in an old cemetery crypt. But Nikolai, a recent demobilizer, reacted to this whole obviously unhealthy atmosphere steadfastly. Needless to say, who served in our army, not only in the circus does not laugh, but also responds to the tricks of the deceased more quietly, the living are more dangerous. Classic action movie hero

An interesting fact in creating a picture can be considered an actor's casting. Almost all the actors who took part in the shooting of the film "The Guy from Our Cemetery" acted on the project almost by accident. Pal was originally invited to perform the role of a completely different hero, but expressed a desire to try his acting talent in a fresh positive-heroic role. The authors did not fail, having confirmed the performer of the main role, because Pal embodied on the screen the image of the canonical hero of the militants, and exactly as the creators wanted. It turned out domestic Rambo, or rather, Danila Bagrov.

On the shoulders of the whole film

The performer of the main role, actor Alexander Pal, 90% of the timing is in the frame, withstanding a worthy serious load, calmly putting on his shoulders the whole picture. The main advantage

In addition to the lead actor, the film features the cameo of Vladimir Sychev, known to the viewer as Lech the Psyche from Fizruk, there is Ilya Ogurtsov from Reutov TV, and Alexander Ilyin from the same Fizruk, the comedy "Firs 3", "Kitchens" . They qualitatively win back their roles and look quite appropriate in the format of a cozy bi-movie without any special complaints. All the actors are good, no one is making jokes. In general, some kind of unpretentiousness is considered the main advantage of the picture (at least, so say critics, leaving feedback). "The guy from our cemetery" in general is similar to a merry cabbage, played and shot in the same scenery with an enviable sense of humor - sometimes ridiculously, but very confidently, and most importantly, in Russian. Having removed from the transatlantic horror all the comedic accents to the native horror, the creators built a plot on the solution of vital everyday questions: how to get a residence permit in the White-stone, to whom to entrust the obshchak, what is the truth, brother. Everything is painfully familiar - one hero against the mass of the bad, for all the good. Scary only a certain inclination of the creators of the picture to the romanticization of the criminal way of life, perhaps it's just nostalgia for the "dashing" 90th.

Summary

From this film, with the proper ingenuity and courage, you could get an analogue of "Sinister Dead" or "Cemetery of Pets". Brothers Chizhikov should be given credit, at least for the fact that their low-budget debut became a good cocktail from a criminal comedy, thriller and sharp satire. Also, the picture can be regarded as a moralizing social drama, the moral message of the tape is correct and relevant. Well, to the unpretentious farce of the authors can be considered their attempt to ridicule the people's inclination for superstitions and the creators' assertion about the existence of the other world. This contradictory dualism should be considered a minus of the picture.
