For the first time a VAZ-21124 passenger car came off the Volga Automobile Plant assembly line in 1999. It belongs to the class of five-door hatchbacks. For the entire period of existence the twelfth model of the VAZ has proved itself as a comfortable, dynamic and maneuverable car. And in 2000, AvtoVAZ released a cheaper version of the 21122 model. Unlike its predecessor, the VAZ "tens" (which was manufactured a little earlier), the car had improved driving performance and a greater variety in the complete sets.
