Burgundy rock

The breed is very beautiful. A typical rabbit is a red rabbit weighing 4-4.5 kg with a neat head and small straight ears. The wool of the Burgundians is thick, dense, quite tough to the touch. These are beautiful strong beasts with an elegant physique and pronounced musculature.

Red sheep

Bunnies are usually called rabbits, whose ears hang down. This term combines several breeds.

Meat rabbit ram is usually a large animal weighing up to 7 kg, with a short muzzle and wool of medium length. There are a lot of colors, along with red-haired, there is also a white-red rabbit. New Zealand Red Rabbit

The breed was obtained by crossing the Belgian flank with representatives of other breeds. Excellent qualities, thanks to which professional breeders appreciate the Belgian breed, were transferred to his descendant, the New Zealander.

The color scheme of this breed is very colorful. Color can be anything: from a pale-red with a yellow tint to a fiery and even reddish-brown.

An ordinary New Zealander is a middle-sized red-haired rabbit with a soft fur, a cylindrical calf, slender legs and a short neck. Usually these animals are planted in order to obtain meat.

Rex

This is not an ordinary red-headed rabbit. Description it makes sense to start with a wool. Reks include several varieties, united by such a sign as a short fur. Most of the breeds are meat and fur.

Representatives rarely reach a 4-kilogram weight, but they have a very delicate elegant skeleton and tender meat. Rex wool is very pleasant to the touch and is often used to imitate the more expensive varieties of fur.

Along with agricultural species there is also a decorative variety. The cost of rex is low, due care is easy to provide, they are contact, they are interesting to observe. It is not surprising that these red-haired ones are the most common for home keeping.

Dwarf fox

These are exclusively decorative red rabbits. The breed owes its name to some kind of resemblance to a fox. There are several varieties of color, but redheads definitely dominate.

The wool of rabbit-chanterelle is long and soft, and therefore it is desirable to comb out the pet periodically during moulting periods. In the rest, its content does not have any peculiarities.

Lysias rabbit belongs to the category "mini". With good care, the animal can live 7 years or more. An adult rabbit of this breed rarely weighs more than one and a half kilograms.

These animals are contact, loving and not fearful, they do not bite and gladly give themselves to pat. Often they are chosen by families in which there are children. But we must always remember that a toy resembling a toy is a lively creature that is a living being that needs care and love.

Angora redheads

Similarity with the goats of down Angora breed gave the name to this variety of rabbits. There are agricultural and decorative options.

If you dream that such a red-haired rabbit settled in your house as a pet, prepare for the fact that you will have to look after the long fur. It grows fast, making the animal look like a dandelion, ready to fly apart from the whiff of the wind. Fur, hanging over the eyes, you need to periodically cut, otherwise the animal will begin to have problems with vision. Red Angora rabbits are different from the foxes. Their wool is longer and much thinner, it looks like fluff.
