Sorts are better to choose recommended for the region and, please note, raspberry plantations can grow (not reducing the yield) for very long - 50 years or more. Raspberry is a self-fertilizing plant, but, nevertheless, it fructifies better if several different varieties are planted near each other. The best varieties of raspberries for the North Caucasus:

The TOURNER is an old variety of American breeding, and has proved itself well in the Krasnodar Territory. Winter-resistant, quite resistant to diseases and pests, relatively drought-resistant. Raspberry variety TURNER - is fertile and fructifies annually. Early ripe, overripe berries crumble. The bushes are strong, well leafy and spreading, the leaves are mottled.
