Pump station: wiring diagram. Automatic pumping station for water supply at home

Before installing the plumbing system, you need to draw up a detailed wiring diagram, focusing on how the water supply will be carried out - centrally or autonomously, and how many water intake points - dishwasher and washing machine, the hot water column, a kitchen faucet, a sink, Shower, toilet, bath. In addition, it is necessary to calculate the approximate consumption of water consumed, taking into account the number of people living in the house, as well as watering the garden and garden. And to find out what pumping station should be , the scheme of its connection to the water supply network. About all this you can learn in this article.

What is a pumping station?

When installing an autonomous water supply system and connecting the water pipe to the public backbone networks, the consumer dreams of a regular pressure of water in the system. Thus, a special pumping equipment can be used for lifting from a well located on the backyard or a well. It can be of different capacities and models, it can be placed in different parts of the water supply system. Surface devices are placed at ground level, the submersible is lowered directly into the well or borehole.

Essential elements

Pumping equipment must not be constantly operated, as continuous operation can lead to rapid deterioration of the mechanisms and components of this device. However, you want to use water at any time of the day. There is an exit - the pumping station is assembled (the connection scheme and the main parts are presented below), which provides a constant head in the water supply system. So, let's consider the main components of the pumping station.

Pump

Very often, the pump station is equipped with surface pumps. They pump water from the mains, wells or wells through a filter inlet.

Battery

A hydraulic accumulator (or pressure accumulator) is a design of certain overall dimensions, inside of which there is an internal container or an elastic partition of rubber. When the pressure in the pressure system increases, the baffle or container is stretched, respectively, when decreasing, is reduced, directing water into the system and maintaining constant pressure values.

Control Node

This element determines when to start the pump device, and when its operation is not required. The on / off parameters are determined by the pressure parameters in the system, measured by means of a pressure gauge.

Installation options

Regardless of the location of the water source, the pumping station can be installed in three main locations - in the basement, in a detached building and in the caisson. Let us consider them in more detail.

Basement

This installation of the pumping station greatly facilitates the maintenance of the equipment, since in this case there is free access to the mechanisms for their repair and maintenance. However, pumping devices are quite a noisy thing, so when choosing this option one should think about noise isolation measures.

Detached building

In this case, the connection scheme of the pumping station to the well is provided in a separate building, which is located above the wellhead or well. Despite the obvious benefit of this option, erecting a stand-alone structure for technical facilities is quite a costly process.

Caisson

The caisson is a design that looks like a container, whose bottom is arranged below the freezing level. It is possible to build large-sized caissons, in which it is allowed to place pumping equipment.

Pump station: reviews

According to consumers' feedback on pumping equipment, which is used in stations, in most cases it does not cause censures. If you want to hedge, it is advisable to purchase stations with equipment from well-known European companies.

Select a placement

Before choosing where the pump station will be located (the wiring diagram also depends on the location), it is necessary to know the requirements for its installation.

  • To avoid excessive vibration, the pump station must be installed on a solid base. The lack of a secure attachment and a strong base can lead to the formation of backlashes in the joints of the pipelines, which will cause leaks. But at the same time, pumping equipment must not touch the ceiling and walls.
  • The pump station (the connection diagram is shown below) must be installed either in a heated room or must be isolated from the effects of negative temperatures. Otherwise, lowering the temperature can damage almost all the components.

If the year-round use of the station is planned, it will be necessary to perform rather complex preparatory work. Automatic pumping stations (connection schemes also need to be thought out in advance) should be installed in warm rooms, and the pipeline from the house to the well must be laid below the freezing level or insulated.

Organization of water supply system

In this case, the ideal option is an autonomous water supply system, which is easy to erect. And the cost of such a system is quite democratic. Therefore, it remains to find out what pumping station for a private house should be, the scheme for connecting it to the water supply system.

There are two main schemes for organizing an autonomous water supply system: on the basis of a well and on the basis of a well. The device of an autonomous network in the latter case begins with the drilling of a well. It is desirable, if the project for the well, the wiring and the installation of the pump station will be carried out in conjunction with the design of the main building and yard buildings. In this case, you can design the installation of a piece of equipment on the basement floors adjacent to the building or in the basement so that the well and the pumping station (expert reviews confirm this) are in harmony with the overall architectural style of the estate. And most importantly, this option in the winter does not require additional protection of communications and equipment from freezing. The equipment, assembled in one place, will be convenient for repair and maintenance.

Pump stations for home: wiring diagram

Depending on the configuration of the plumbing system, you can choose to connect the station to a single-pipe or two-pipe system. The latter option is used to increase the depth with which pumping stations for the house (connection scheme discussed below) will be able to take water.

If the depth of the well is no more than 10 meters, then a single-pipe circuit is used. With a suction depth of more than 20 meters, it is more advisable to use a two-pipe circuit with an ejector.

Two-pipe circuit

Connection of the pumping station to the well: a two-pipe scheme.

  1. At the first stage, it is necessary to assemble an ejector that represents a separate unit of cast iron with three outlets for connecting the pipeline.
  2. In the lower part of the ejector, a filter grid is installed, which, if a sand or other small particles come in from the well or well, protects the pumping equipment from failure.
  3. Then, at the top of the ejector, a plastic bell is installed, a 32 mm section is connected to it. To reach the cross-section of the water pipe, it may be necessary to mount several runs simultaneously.
  4. At the end of the shot, a clutch is installed, providing a transition to the polyethylene pipeline. As a rule, this clutch is made of bronze.
  5. Further on, a casing is installed on the casing of the well.
  6. After this, the required depth of the pipeline is determined. To do this, a long object descends into the drilled well . As a result, the level of the inlet nozzle should be at least one meter from the bottom of the well to prevent stones or sand from falling from the bottom.
  7. A pipeline of polyethylene is connected to the ejector unit, the length of which should be equal to the sum of the distance from the depth of the well and the pump to the wellhead (minus 1 meter).
  8. Then, at the end of the well, a knee with a rotation of 90 ° is mounted.
  9. Plastic pipelines are pushed through the straight knee leading to the ejector unit (in the end, the space between the pipelines and the inside of the knee can be filled with mounting foam).
  10. The ejector device is lowered to the required depth. Correctness of depth can be checked by the mark, which was previously made on the pipeline.
  11. At the top of the casing , a homemade headband is fixed, consisting of a knee turned at an angle of 90 °. The head is fixed on the casing line of the borehole by means of a specialized reinforced adhesive tape for plumbing.

Connection to an internal water supply

Pump station for a private house: a scheme for connecting to an internal water supply system.

  • HDPE pipe from external networks (from the well or well) enters the building and ends with a fitting made of brass with the transition to a threaded joint with a diameter of 32 mm.
  • The connections upstream of the fine filter have a diameter of 25 mm. To the brass fitting is connected a tee with a drain cock (when replacing or repairing water pipe elements). Next, you need to turn toward the station turn. To do this, you will need a connecting corner for 90 degrees.
  • After the corner, a quick-fit coupler with a ball valve is installed. Next, a mud collector (a coarse strainer ) is installed to protect it from sand, small stones, etc.
  • If there is a scheme for connecting the pumping station to the well, the filter should be installed in the well before the discharge valve. In the case of pumping equipment, a brass manifold for the manometer, damper tank and pressure switch departs from the well. For the first variant the collector is not required because the pumping station for the water supply of the house is equipped with a tank and a pressure switch. If a pump is provided from the well, the pressure switch is mounted in the collector in a horizontal position from above, the damper tank is connected from the bottom, the fine filter is connected to the remaining connection.
  • After the filter, a transition to a polypropylene pipeline with a diameter of 25 mm is established. For hot water use products reinforced with fiberglass, for the cold - unreinforced. Pipelines are joined by butt after hot softening (soldering) with a special soldering iron.
  • Then the collector of cold water is installed, and on the pipelines, locking devices are mounted in case of repair.

Connection with a storage tank

The scheme of connection of a pumping station with a storage tank is used in the case when the volume of water is insignificant or the well (well) is small. The storage tank is installed between the water source and the end user. The volume of the tank, depending on the daily intake, can be from 300 to 1000 liters. In urban conditions, the daily volume of water per person is taken from the consumption of 170-250 liters, in the absence of a bath and in the country conditions - 50-75 liters.

The scheme of connecting a pumping station with a storage tank has the following advantages:

  • In winter, the storage tank does not require additional heating.
  • The storage tank does not occupy space in the house.
  • It is allowed to use large tanks.

For underground installation it is necessary to use storage tanks of round or ribbed shape, which will ensure a good connection of the pumping station to the well. The connection diagram using the storage tank is a cascade of separately controlled pumps.
