Podchufarova Olga: sports career and biography

Olga Podchufarova, whose biography is described in this article, is the rising Russian biathlon star. Native Muscovite. At the age of twenty-one, Olga became the winner of the World Cup in this sport.

Childhood

Podchufarova Olga was born on August 5, 1992 in Moscow. Parents of the champion have nothing to do with sports. My mother works as an interpreter and guide, and my father is engaged in computer systems. It was he who taught his daughter to ride cross-country skiing. Although her parents took her daughter to other classes - to the pool, to ballroom dances - she chose biathlon.

To give it to the ski section advised the teachers, because the girl was physically very developed, and the ability was visible to the naked eye. But it was very far to go to classes. So Olga was recorded in ballroom dancing.

Passion for sports and first victories

She worked for eight years. Even went to competitions. But Olga felt that this was not her path. Therefore, probably, I did not achieve success in dancing. When Podchufarova Olga moved to the ninth grade, she became interested in biathlon. The pupils were sent to the competitions and had to pass a three-kilometer ski track.

Despite the fact that the girl's rivals constantly went to training, Podchufarova came to the finish line first. After this victory, she asked the coach to write it to the section. So she was in the sports school "Youth of Moscow". Her first coach was Yuri Lelin. He trains a girl to this day.

Education

After graduating from high school Podchufarova entered the university of state administration for the specialty "management". Simultaneously the sportswoman continues to train. The schedule turns out rather intense, but at Olga excellent endurance and discipline. And it helps her to cope with studies and sports.

Sports career

Olga Podchufarova, whose biography is very interesting, began her sports career in 2009. And a couple of years later she already received gold and silver at the World Biathlon World Championships. In 2012, her bonus piggy bank was added another 3 gold medals for the sprint, relay race and the pursuit race. This World Cup was held in Ufa.

In 2013, at similar competitions Podchufarova Olga was able to take bronze. Up to a higher award, she was short of just thirty seconds. 2013 was a turning point in the life of Podchufarova. Since the World Cup, held in Austria, Olga brought three medals - bronze, silver and gold.

Then came the World Cup, which was held in Sochi. She first played for the Russian team. And earlier only in junior formulations. At the World Cup, Olga took the 58th place in the sprint. At the next World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk, Podchufarova improved her previous result. She took 26th place in the pursuit race. In 2014, at the competitions in Holmenkollen Podchufarova, Olga took the 21st place in the sprint. Then I went to the Olympic Games, which took place in Sochi. Then in the individual race she took 49th place, and at the competitions in Ostersund came the eleventh.

The next stage was even more effective. She finished fourth. Before the pedestal, she did not have only one and a half seconds. Olga is considered the best biathlonist. In 2016 Podchufarova was supposed to perform in Holmenkollen, at the World Championships. But after the 65th place in the sprint was removed by coaches from the competition.

The reason was insufficient training athletes. After exclusion from the competition, Olga announced that she would consider moving to independent training. And in this case, will train separately from the Russian team.

Personal life and hobbies

Whether Olga Podchufarova is married? Biathlon does not leave the girl for this time. Therefore, Olga does not even plan to develop personal life in the near future. She spends her free time at the computer, communicating in social networks with friends. A sportswoman does not like toadying and excessive talkativeness. And he prefers sincerity in communication.
