Pensions in Ukraine. Minimum and maximum amount of pension

Pensions are cash payments to the population, which depend on the person's age, length of service and social status. Pensions can be assigned by age, disability and survivor. Let's consider each of them in more detail.

Pensions for disability

Pensions in Ukraine to disabled people are appointed depending on the group and age of the patient. For example, if the disabled is a child, the payment, as a rule, consists of two parts - a pension and a bonus. The second part of the allowance is appointed if the child can not attend the garden or school, and one of the adults is constantly with him. A person who cares for a child should not work or study. The amount of the disability benefit depends on the current subsistence level. The maximum size of the pension is provided for invalids since childhood of the 1st group of subgroup A. The maximum allowance with a care allowance is approximately 2500 UAH, and the minimum pension in Ukraine for a disabled child is 1300 UAH. At the same time, the subsistence minimum for a child is 1167 UAH.

The amount of pension in Ukraine for disability to an adult person depends on the length of service. The maximum pension is 100% of the average monthly wage. This applies to those pensions that were prescribed in connection with the injury received in the workplace. Disability pensions are paid only in the case of a special medical commission. As a rule, it determines the period for which the payment is assigned. The commission also establishes a disability group.

Retirement age

Pensions by age depend on many factors: the sex of the citizen, the profession, the number of officially worked years in a certain position, etc. The size of the pension in Ukraine, as a rule, depends on the length of the insurance period of the person (for women, the minimum insurance experience is 30 years, and for men - 35 years). Almost every year in Ukraine, the retirement age varies, the law is amended. Since 2016 in Ukraine, the retirement age for men is 60 years. For women, it depends on the date of birth. In 2016, citizens will be retired, born in late 1958 and early 1959. Their age will be 57.5. Next year, women who will turn 58 years old (1959) will retire. The age of retirement changes in the direction of increase by 6 months. Citizens of Ukraine, born in 1961 and later, will retire at 60 years of age.

Pensions for civil servants

Pensions in Ukraine - one of the most sick topics, but not for everyone. Former civil servants and judges practically do not complain about the size of the payments they receive. It is this layer of the population that gets the maximum pension. Only those civil servants who have worked in the state apparatus since January 1, 1994 have the right to pension provision. It was on this day that the Law on the Public Service was put into effect.

On January 1, 2016, a new law came into force, which states that the maximum pension to a state employee will be 10,740 UAH, including all allowances. Previously, these pensions, like many other types of social assistance, were calculated on the basis of subsistence minimums for different categories of citizens. Now, because of high inflation, the living wage will increase, but the size of the state employees' pensions will not change. The minimum pension in Ukraine to a civil servant is 3600 UAH.

Working pensioners

In 2015-2016 in Ukraine, a number of laws were adopted, concerning social payments and salaries, and they did not forget about working pensioners. Many people who are already on the state's security are forced to earn extra money, since they lack money for living. We are talking about pensioners who receive minimal pensions (about 1000 UAH).

Taking into account the growth of prices for products and utilities, it is simply impossible to do without additional earnings. However, Ukrainian officials have passed a law stating that 15% of the payment amount will be with retired workers. Let's try to find out what kind of pension the working pensioner in Ukraine is now shining. For example, a teacher with a work experience of 35 years, being on pension, arranged for half of the rate in the library. The allowance that the teacher receives is on average 1350 UAH. It turns out that after this pensioner goes to work, his pension will decrease by 202 UAH and will be only 1148 UAH.

Pensions by age

Pensions by age primarily depend on the length of service and the profession of a person. The average pension in Ukraine is 1570 UAH. Such a pension can be expected by health workers, teachers, cooks, etc. Many are interested in the question of if the maximum pension is 10,000 hryvnia, why the average is so small. It turns out that in reality everything is very simple. In Ukraine, about 13 million pensioners, but the maximum payment is only 900 thousand. So it turns out that most of the pensioners live only 1000 UAH per month.

How to calculate the pension by age

Pensions in Ukraine are calculated by the formula: P = 3n * Ks, where P - the amount of pension, Zp - the income of the insured person from July 1, 2000 (in UAH), Кс - the insurance period factor.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has created a special online register of workers. The site has the opportunity to see the entire length of service, in which months and at what enterprise he worked, what wages he received. Knowing this information, it's easy to calculate your own pension by age.

Additions to pensions

To pensions by age there can be various extra charges: for excess of the rate of the experience, for a delay of pension payments, for harmful working conditions.

An extra charge for exceeding the seniority rate can be assigned if the insurance period is higher than normal. The surcharge is 1% of the minimum pension by age. For example, if the length of service has been exceeded for 5 years, then the surcharge will be about 50 UAH.

An extra charge for deferring pension payments is given if the person has completed his work activity, but decided to take a reprieve on payments. The surcharge is about 6% per year. However, given that the inflation rate in Ukraine is about 13%, it turns out that the pensioner will lose half of the payment for the year. For example, a new pension in Ukraine (minimal) will amount to 1300 UAH, the surcharge in this case will be 78 UAH, and if you take the previous minimum payment of 1200, then the difference for only one month will be 100 UAH. Given that the pensioner, for example, did not receive payments for 12 months, the losses will be 1200 UAH, and the profit - 864 UAH.

For harmful working conditions, not only a financial allowance is put, but also a reduction in the length of service. There are several lists in which particularly harmful and less harmful working conditions are indicated. Particularly harmful are: work at metallurgical plants, chemical laboratories, pulp and paper production, etc. In total there are about 20 different industries on the list. Pensions in Ukraine with a premium for less harmful working conditions are accrued to electricians, welders, machinists, locksmiths and others.
