Ovarian cyst is a merciless threat.

Many women already, for certain, have heard the diagnosis - an ovarian cyst. Alas, as many other women this diagnosis from a doctor will still be heard. Our confidence in this relies on the fact that the ovarian cyst is a fairly common disease of the female reproductive system, which, by the way, refers to this type of disease whose successful treatment directly depends on how quickly and how timely the pathology is revealed.

From a medical point of view, the ovarian cyst is a benign ovarian formation in the form of a sac in the ovary with a liquid content ranging in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters. Ovarian cysts can be detected by the following signs: pain in the lower abdomen or sensation of a foreign body. However, it is quite possible to detect ovarian cysts during ultrasound or gynecological examination.

To understand the causes of ovarian cysts, you should ask yourself - what, in fact, is the function of the ovary? This function is ovulation, in other words - the output of the egg. Ovaries produce hormones that regulate the maturation of the follicle and the formation of the so-called yellow body inside it. During the menstrual cycle, the follicle bursts, and the egg, in turn, comes out - ovulation occurs. If this did not happen and the release of the egg did not occur, the follicle degenerates into a follicular cyst. If the follicle burst, then out of it emits into the ovary cavity of the yellow body. The normal work of the ovaries sets the reverse cycle of the development of the yellow body, which should eventually disappear, but if the ovaries are broken, then the yellow body does not disappear, but transforms into a cyst of the yellow body.

Development of the ovarian cyst can be caused by a variety of diverse factors, including both the rhythm of life, and the social environment, diet and working conditions, the worldview of women and even the family microclimate. Separately it is worth mentioning the stresses, which are especially strong in the endocrine system of women. Problems with the endocrine system, no doubt, will affect the work of the ovaries, which means that the risk of cyst development will increase many times.

However, not everything is so terrible, especially since much - really much - depends on the woman herself and how carefully she watches for her own health, how often the gynecologist visits, how much he knows about the symptoms of certain diseases. However, in the case of the ovarian cyst, the knowledge of the symptoms does not help much, since the disease, as a rule, proceeds with the absence of any expressed symptomatology, in fact, in fact, its danger is hidden. Regular examination with an experienced, qualified gynecologist will allow to detect a cyst at an early stage of development and, in the future, to avoid the possibility of developing any complications, in particular, increasing the size of the cyst, ovarian cyst, polycystosis, rupture of the cyst and others. These complications are not even dangerous because they are accompanied by painful symptoms, but because the treatment of the ovarian cysts that are started up to this stage should be performed surgically. Women, remember - neglected cases of ovarian cysts can cause infertility! And very neglected cases can even lead to the development of ovarian cancer.

Treatment of the ovarian cyst is a process of eliminating the causes of hormonal disorders and normalizing the hormonal background. This is the only way to save a woman from such a dangerous disease as an ovarian cyst.
