GMOs in a variety of products appeared on our shelves without publicity of the results of the studies. What is the reason for the lack of results? It is still classified. Scientists deny the safety of GMOs

Independent research conducted by scientists from different countries showed that the danger of food included in the list of products containing GMOs is not intended. The experimental animals fed with GMO grains and corn fell behind in development and growth, and the number of females in the litter was larger than that of males. The latter, in turn, were diagnosed as having a reproductive function. In addition, the number of young in each generation has been intensively curtailed.
A list of products containing GMOs should be available to every Russian mother. The website of the international organization Greenpeace details all possible consequences of using a child's GMO products: an increased risk of allergic reactions, food poisoning, antibiotic resistance, thyroid disease, as well as the nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. The use of pregnant products on the GMO list can lead to the fact that the baby is more likely to be born not quite healthy.

Silence is not worth it

In Russia, the production of products containing altered genes is prohibited. But their import is allowed.

According to Greenpeace, GMO is contained in the products of Nestle, Coca-Cola Hellman's, McDonald's, Hershey's, Cheetos, Mars, Schweppes, Heinz Foods, Lays, Unilever, Pringles (Procter & Gamble), Uniliever, Parmalat, Novartis, Monsanto, Milka, Lipton, Talosto, Danon, KamPoMos, Daria Semiproducts, Similac, PepsiCo, Campbell Soups , Cadbury, Knorr, Kellogg's.

What to do

Do not go to fast food restaurants. Do not buy bakery products, on the label of which there are inscriptions "substance for dough impregnation" and "additive for flour improvement". Avoid buying products labeled with components such as soy flour and butter, tofu cheese, lecithin, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, and corn meal, starch and butter. Unfortunately, it is impossible to know whether there are any derivatives of genetically modified soy and maize in products. For information: 95% of soybean in the world is genetically modified.
