Optimization: transformations carried out to improve education

The school is a social state institution, the main task of which is the formation of a certain system of knowledge, skills and education of pupils in some spiritual, moral, political and ideological key. Over the past decades, the education system has carried out many reforms, pursuing, by and large, positive goals. However, not everything conceived has been achieved, and many results are very doubtful.

Reform and optimization

Any reform is a transformation carried out to improve those areas of life or activities in which it is carried out. If we talk about school education, then it is primarily about optimizing the educational process. What does it mean? Optimal - that is the best. The most convenient, easily accessible and effective of the set of similar. In the transfer of the concept to the needs of school education, "optimization" is the very transformation carried out to improve the education and upbringing of children. This selection of such methodical actions that will give high-quality knowledge with the minimum possible time and effort of both the teacher and the students. Naturally, we are talking about a whole system of thoughtful and consciously selected forms, methods and methods of training, which together make up one or another method. Moreover, often pedagogical transformations, carried out for the purpose of improvement, require updating the entire teaching methodology in general, rather than its individual spheres or areas. This is due to the fact that there are no perfectly universal methods in didactics. Some are the most optimal under certain conditions, others under opposite conditions.

Optimization and Lesson

The teacher, as a creative person, should be in a state of continuous pedagogical search and experiment, constantly enriching his methodological treasury with personal discoveries, the experience of colleagues and applying what has been accumulated in practice. In each concrete case it looks like this: preparing for the lesson, the teacher relies on the transformations carried out in order to improve the assimilation of knowledge, increase the interest of children in the subject, and so on. Therefore, he formulates the topic of the lesson, and selects educational material, and thinks out the forms of his submission. All this is necessary in order to spend the maximum of 45 minutes released to him. For example, it's one thing if a teacher at a Russian class in grade 5 simply reads a rule from the book and offers to perform all the exercises in a row, until the very change. Children will be bored, uninteresting, they will quickly become weary, attention will dissipate, and the effectiveness of such a lesson will be zero. And quite another, if the whole lesson takes place in the form of a fabulous journey, and the new topic and its consolidation will prove to be taught as tests for the gain from the misfortune of fairy-tale heroes, etc. Such an occupation belongs to the category of non-standard ones. This is exactly the optimized transformation in order to improve the learning process, which is required from the teacher. Such a lesson will not only leave a bright emotional trace in the students, but it will also help to fully understand the material being studied, deeply understand it and memorize it for a long time, will form an algorithm for the practical application of theoretical concepts. Consequently, non-standardization is one of the main principles of optimization. The main and necessary. Achieving each individual student the maximum possible level for mastering the curriculum is the main optimization goal. The process of continuous improvement of teaching is focused on it, but the effectiveness of the task depends primarily on the teacher, and secondly on the children themselves, their families, the situation in which they grow, and other factors.

Thus, it is the teacher who must master innovative methods, work on himself, improve his skills, so that his work is conducted on the basis of optimization, rather than the old-fashioned way.
