Omsk poet Dmitry Rumyantsev: biography, creativity and interesting facts

It is known that literature and history go hand in hand in an indissoluble connection. A poet may not be a participant in some events in public life, not compose political manifestos, but, one way or another, he fulfills his mission. According to critics, his business is to testify.

Dmitry Rumyantsev is a poet of a rare type. Evidence is the main and most pronounced feature of his poetry. Connoisseurs and critics of literature do not regard historicism as a virtue or disadvantage of one or another author. This quality, interest in history can be endowed with both a novelist and a poet. Rumyantsev is considered interesting precisely because of his inherent creativity in interpenetrating history and literature.

Poetry is destiny

Dmitry Rumyantsev is 40 years old. His authorship includes four poetic collections. The first of them came out in 1999, bringing the young poet a prestigious literary prize to them in his hometown of Omsk. Dostoevsky. The second and third collections were published at the same time - in 2011, in two years the fourth was released. The output of each author's book is considered a real literary event.

Dmitry Rumyantsev is a member of the Writers' Union, he is a diplomat of various literary contests. Repeatedly the poet took part in the International Seminar of Young Writers, taking place in Lipki (Moscow region). Among Omsk citizens Rumyantsev Dmitry Anatolyevich is the unconditional leader in publications in leading Russian literary magazines. His poems appeared on the pages of publications: "New Youth", "New World", "Star", "Siberian Lights", "Day and Night", etc. This fact, according to experts, is perhaps most vividly demonstrated the consistency of Dmitry Rumyantsev as Author and emphasizes the nonrandomness of his presence in modern poetry.

What are his poems about?

The answer to this question is not so simple. Once upon a time someone derived a formula according to which these verses are written exclusively about love or death. Perhaps this is so. But Dmitry Rumiantsev's poems are never driven into any definite framework. The poet does not set himself the goal of bringing his creativity in line with strictly prescribed themes. His works, according to experts, are quite difficult. They can not be called "popular" or public. Most likely, an unprepared reader will find it difficult to accept everything written by Dmitry Rumiantsev. People who are versed in poetry do not doubt that this author can soon become a symbol of literary Omsk.

The Hermit from literature

His figure is considered by many to be atypical for contemporary literature. Today, among poets and writers, it is generally accepted as a rule of goodness to be media characters: everyone tries to be in sight, attend parties and various meetings.

Against the background of his contemporaries, Dmitry Rumyantsev seems to be a hermit: he can rarely be seen speaking to the readers, he does not have a well-known author group in social networks, does not seek to "PR" his own name.

While many of his brethren make titanic efforts in the field of self-piracy, Dmitry Rumyantsev writes poetry. According to critics, his creative energy will last for many years. The poet is endowed with a remarkable power, which will certainly help him in the future to come out of the inevitable creative crises renewed and with new works. This, according to experts, is incomparably better than a loud, but one-day glory.

"A grain of sand on the scales of eternity ..."

Without awareness of the past, it is impossible to determine your place in the present. In Dmitry Rumyantsev's verses, the present is closely intertwined with the past, events - with works that have emerged against their background, the authors - with the heroes created by them. The impression is created at first glance fragmentation, but after all the mosaic is assembled from the shards, and what material to prefer for this is the personal matter of each artist. The best position for perception of a mosaic is detachment, some distance: there is no doubt about the integrity of the images.

In any of Dmitriy Rumyantsev's books, there is supposed to be such a distance - in them the author shares his thoughts with the reader, but does not panic, preserves the distance. From fragments and shards and the past, he creates a picture of his own: in historical names, the features of modern Omsk appear.

The poet does not flaunt his inner world, does not reveal it explicitly, allowing only to guess. The reader is not practically invited by Rumiantsev to empathize: he is indicated by some kind of movement of the soul, but it is by no means required that they must be joined to them. Rather, the poet invites the reader to observe and comprehend, ie, fulfills his mission all the same witness. He comprehends himself and the person in general as a particle of the historical process, thanks to which the author's attitude towards himself is formed, sufficiently detached, deprived without excessive self and "quality" - this is exactly what authorial behavior in literature is called truly humble.

His poetry is called typical and one hundred percent male. This highly conscious, slow and quiet narration of a calm man, who has a high degree of responsibility for his words. Each of us is a grain of sand on the scales of eternity, as if the poet says, but anyone weighing it can shake her scales. Critics unanimously note Rumiantsev's characteristic responsibility - before the world, before his own word and before his reader.

Philosophy of understanding

This is how critics of Rumyantsev's poetry determine. Comprehending the history of its kind, beginning with the description of the picture of peasant everyday life at the dawn of building a communist future, the author does not separate himself from his ancestors, and his ancestors from the whole people. The personal, everyday moments conveyed by Rumiantsev are perceived by certain parts of history. The poetry inherent in his poetry is characterized by a definite touch of the chronicles, in his story of a secret break after school there are documentary features of the era. Human life is considered by the poet in dynamics. He embraces the whole process from the beginning or even from the very moment of birth to a certain outcome.

In his plot pictures, sketches, light or dark moments of life, ominous or beautiful, there is no moment of appraisal and condemnation. Regardless of what Dmitry Rumyantsev told, he is definitely not a judge - neither the world nor man. Perhaps, this very principle, proclaimed by him ("Do not judge this world, // Though die, but love and believe ..."), and gives Rumiantsev's poetry a special, soft and implicit attractiveness.

Conclusion

The poet's courage consists in touching things that have been repeatedly spoken about to him, even thousands of times, from century to century. But at the same time express how he realizes and experiences the familiar to many. Poet Dmitry Rumyantsev succeeds completely.
