Network of bars "Wine Bazaar"

Five years ago, the first "wine market" opened in the atmospheric Moscow bar. It was there that the best Moscow sommeliers began to come to daily tastings, so a closed club began to exist. In it, the method of blind tastings was the selection of the most interesting specimens of wine, and for each bottle the store's cavaliers vouched personally. Soon the club appeared baskets and boxes with bottles, in which were stored the most rare and unique wines.

In 2014, an independent restaurant "Wine Bazaar" (Komsomolsky Avenue) appeared on the market place, the heads of which selected more than three hundred copies of various champagne and wine. Drinks in the institution can not only try at a table, complementing them with chequette, assorted cheeses or author's snacks, but also to buy with them.

The idea to introduce people to wine prompted the management of the bar to open a second similar institution. So, in 2016 another "Wine Bazaar" (Nikitsky Boulevard) was opened, the hallmark of which was the interior that creates the feeling of being in the wine box, and the section in the menu "Anti-confectionery".

Komsomol prospectus

"Wine Bazaar", located on Komsomolsky Avenue, house 14/1, building 2 is a cozy small bar with excellent wines for democratic prices. There are about 300 copies of white, pink, red and sparkling wine, champagne from different manufacturers, a collection of author's appetizers, a variety of cheese, sliced, and the sommelier team goes through a strict selection.

The store purchases the remains of wines and samples from trusted suppliers, so there is a huge and ever-changing range, and wines are sold at prices much lower than retail.

In the warm season, this institution, in whose map a lot of interesting (for example, real wines of Greece, Russia, Bulgaria), turns into a real market, noisy and crowded.

The cafe hall is square in shape, surrounded by wine racks around the perimeter. When organizing a cocktail reception, it can accommodate up to 55 people, during a banquet - up to 45 people.

The concept of a bar

"Wine Bazaar" offers its guests a menu with wine-frendly dishes, a huge selection of strong drinks and wines, a cozy and stylish interior. Here you can spend a holiday in the format of an enogastronomic tasting or dinner accompanied by a professional sommelier. Also at your service is a wine casino.

Nikitsky Boulevard

"Wine Bazaar" (Nikitsky Boulevard, 12) opened last year, has already managed to prove itself on the good side. Compared with the "Wine Market" on Komsomolsky Avenue, it is a little pathetic, you can not come here any more. Those who came into the restaurant, instantly want to remove their outer clothing and sit at a table.

This institution has more than four hundred names of wines of any category and presents a menu with unusual snacks from a professional young chef.

The concept of the institution

"Wine Bazaar" (Nikitsky Boulevard) is distinguished by the lack of a map of wines and waiters, bottles here stand on shelves with the indication of cost and regions, and with an option an experienced cavist helps to decide.

Here you will find a wide range of drinks from the Czech Republic, Israel, Bulgaria, Greece, the Old and New Worlds with a good value for money. The cost for a bottle of wine starts from 700 rubles.

The menu from the chef contains different sections:

  • A classic version of wine appetizers (tapas and bruschettes);
  • Hot (steak from chavach, snails in Burgundy, mussels in wine);
  • Pastes;
  • Salads;
  • Soups;
  • Anti-confectionery.

The last section is considered the main hit, the dishes from it have the form of desserts, but they are not. Having tasted them, each guest will experience a real cognitive dissonance: eclairs with tobiko, red fish or chicken pate, potato wafers with beetroot ice cream, salmon cakes and many other treats will make any gourmet experience a real gastronomic delight.

Traditionally, the institution hosts master classes and wine tastings with the participation of the best sommeliers and buyers of the capital.

Impressions of visitors to the cafe

Judging by the reviews, "Wine Bazaar" is distinguished by its excellent wine cellar, delicious cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The institution has excellent staff, all the guys are a friendly and wonderful team that will find a professional approach to any client. This place is ideal for a romantic dinner or a friendly meeting.

Among the minuses, some guests distinguish only the contact tables in the cafe on Komsomolsky Prospekt.

"Wine Bazaar" - one of the most popular places among admirers of wine, it is often met by the most famous wine critics, and rare copies are sold literally for pennies. Every fan of wine will find a drink suitable for himself.

Restaurants are open every day from 12 noon until midnight. All the necessary information can be specified on the official website of the organization.
