A tree with blood-red berries has been sung many times in poetry, endowed with delightful epithets - these are "rowan beads", and "rowan red bunches", and "slender mountain ash", etc. Where this plant is not mentioned: in songs, Films, sentimental poems, in which a flexible tree has an allegorical meaning with a woman's destiny: "... mountain ash is a bitter destiny ...".
