Military call of citizens to the service

A military appeal is an obligatory generally accepted form that allows you to fulfill the military duty of every citizen of the state. In order for the appeal to go through all the rules, there are a number of organizational measures that are carried out by the authorities responsible for this, and local government also actively participates.

What is the essence of conscription?

First it is worth noting that all citizens who have reached a certain age can be called up, as a rule, restrictions are prescribed in the law, so we can confidently say that the conscripts are young people from 18 to 27 years old. The draft has its own terms, for example, according to the law of the Russian Federation, citizens can be recruited from April 1 to July 15, as well as from October 1 to December 31, just two times in twelve months.

It is also worth remembering the restrictions, for example, in certain places the term of conscription can be slightly shifted, but this is all related to the location, so citizens of the Far North are called from May 1, and citizens who need to take an active part in agricultural work are called upon after these works .

How is the call for service organized?

The call of citizens for military service, which are not listed in the reserve, occurs in several stages:

1. Initially, the draftee must come to the examination.

2. The commission issues a conclusion to the young man, stating that he is fit for service, and in the military ticket a category is indicated.

3. After the commission and recognizing the recruit as fit for service, he must, at the appointed time, come to the commissariat to go to his duty station.

The decision, whether the conscript has the right to enter the service, is given only by the commission, since there are many nuances to which attention is drawn. The verdict of the commission is quite possible to appeal, but only in a judicial manner.

Which conscripts must be accepted for military service?

Citizens who are recruited for military service, pass a commission, where experts distribute categories. If the commission raises questions about fitness, the young person is redirected to outpatient or inpatient treatment, after which he passes the commission again. Conscripts can be assigned such categories:

1. Category "A" is given to the recruit, when a person is completely fit, he does not have any health problems.
2. "B" is given when there are small restrictions on the service.
3. "B" is appointed by the commission, when the restrictions are greater.
4. "G" is issued to a conscript who is temporarily not fit for service.
5. Category "D" is put on a military ticket, when a person of military age does not have the right to serve because of serious health problems.

There are a large number of reservations in the law, which clearly states that there are certain categories of young people who can not give debt to the Motherland for reasons not related to health.

Who is exempt from military service?

Military appeal does not apply to everyone, the law prescribes all those categories of citizens who are exempt from service.

1. People who are not fit for service for health reasons.
2. Young people who have passed military service are being released.
3. Citizens who fulfilled their duty as citizens of another state.
4. Do not recruit men who have reached great heights in science and who are awarded a scientific degree.
5. A brother or son of a young man who is on military service at the call and who died during her time.
6. Citizens who were previously deprived of their liberty and have a criminal record are released.

When is the delay given?

A young man who is drafted into the army can take advantage of the right to defer, but it is given in certain cases:

1. The conscript may be declared unfit for reasons of health problems, in which case he is given a one-year grace period, after which he again needs to pass a commission.
2. Military appeal does not apply to young people who are forced to monitor sick parents or other close relatives.
3. In the case when a young person is the guardian of an under-age relative.
4. A conscript who brings up a child without a mother or who has two underage children.
5. Do not recruit men who entered the service in the police or in the fire department.
6. The right to deferment is given to conscripts who have a pregnant wife, and the term must be at least 26 weeks.

Is it possible to not come to the commissariat and what punishment is awaiting the conscript?

The military appeal stipulates that every conscript must appear in the military commissariat, except for individual cases:

1. For example, if a draftee did not appear at a certain time to the commissariat because of a mutilation, then he must provide a special certificate of loss of ability to work.
2. Also a good reason is a sharp deterioration in the health of close relatives.
3. Non-appearance in the commissariat can be for other reasons, which are absolutely independent of the recruit.

If the draftee did not show up at the military commissariat at the appointed time, the citizen will be considered evader, and in this case the law provides for administrative punishment.

It is worth noting that servicemen who are conscripted on military service may be released from service if they have good reasons for doing this during their service.

1. A soldier may be released if he has health problems.
2. If you urgently need to look after sick parents and close relatives, including your wife and child.

3. If a soldier was deprived of his rank due to a disciplinary violation.

4. If the child of a serviceman remains for some reason without a mother, and he is the sole guardian.

All reasons for postponement and dismissal from the service are considered individually, after which a decision is made, also if the conscript wants to enter the service on the contrary, but for the state of health the commission does not allow him, he can appeal this decision to the court.
