What is a military duty?

The history of the development of human civilization is impossible without such a concept as a military duty. In general, as such, the debt is treated quite differently, in accordance with the class or social understanding of the duties that a person takes on in a given era, where, respectively, there are specific problems of society and time.

Literature presents a variety of types of debt: filial and parental, conjugal and debt of honor, but one of the most fundamental concepts is the military duty, formed over many centuries, incorporating all the features, the whole mentality, all traditions and customs, events and historical facts .

Army yesterday and today

Since the establishment in any state of the army - an important tool and the main tool in international politics. In the Russian Empire since the time of Peter the Great, a significant role in the life of society was given to the officers. Military duty is a fundamental element, the spiritual component of the educational process, which begins to form in the earliest childhood.

But they all define these categories as the most significant and enduring values inherent in absolutely all spheres of life of the state and society, which are the spiritual wealth of the individual that characterizes the level of its development and is manifested in self-actualization - active, active and always for the benefit of the Fatherland. These phenomena are multifaceted and multifaceted, they represent a complex set of characteristics and properties, manifested at different levels and the social system, and among citizens of all ages and generations. The most characteristic of a person is the military duty he performs. Military honor depends on the quality of its performance. This is the attitude of the individual to his own country, to people around him.

Education

The most gracious at times in order to instill a sense of patriotism, and with it a military duty, are childhood and adolescence. If you begin your education on time, the proper feelings will definitely appear, and not just words will be heard by the citizen, but these concepts will become sacred to him. When the roots of historical memory are uprooted, then inter-generational ties are broken, traditions are ignored, the mentality of the people, its history, exploits, fame, valor are ignored. There is no continuity - there are no conditions for patriotic feelings to grow. Then it will be very difficult to form the military duty of servicemen.

What prevents the patriotic education in our days? Why did all the ideas of national unity, good, love for the Motherland, family and people in general be replaced by cults of evil, power, sex, permissiveness? Why at the head of life prerogatives are the false symbols of the prestige of the situation in society?

How can young people be taught such attitudes that they can honor their military duty with honor? First of all, parents should do this, in the second - educational institutions and, of course, the state as a whole. And in the Armed Forces - their command staff. It is necessary to develop patriotism, but it is necessary to begin it in childhood, not stopping this process among the youth. Attachment to the Motherland should not be purely theoretical, because the very word "Homeland" contains the definition of "native." In the nineties of the last century a difficult period in the development of our country began, when the society did not pay attention to the patriotic education of the youth, its role was the least. Our national character is the most important circumstance that influences the development of military patriotism. This was not born now, nor even under Soviet rule. The main features of the national character that form the essence of military duty are not too numerous, but each of them is of fundamental importance. Devotion to the Fatherland should be unlimited, to the full readiness to give up life for it consciously. The military oath always had an unquestioned authority and was executed under absolutely any conditions. The concepts of military duty and military honor have always been equally high among soldiers and officers. In battle, the norm of behavior was perseverance and perseverance, readiness for heroism. There was no soldier or sailor, not enough devoted to his regiment or ship, the banner, the traditions.

Military rituals have always been respected, and the rewards and honor of the uniform caused respect. The captured Russian soldiers were always characterized by heroic behavior. They always helped the fraternal peoples. Russian officers did not cease to be the best examples for their soldiers. And the most valued and valued among fellow soldiers is skill, and therefore there is always a growing desire to master your military profession as best as possible. This applies to the rank and file, and generals, each in his place performed a military duty.

For example, Suvorov more than sixty times gave battle to the enemy and never lost. No complete army of the world has such a complete set of remarkable qualities. Patriotism is not material, but its influence is extremely great. It is impossible to calculate, measure, weigh. But always at the most critical moments it was thanks to patriotism that the Russian army won.

Heroes Panfilovtsy - only twenty-eight people, among them one officer, armed with bottles of a combustible mixture, grenades and several anti-tank rifles. There is no one on the flanks. You could have fled. Or give up. Or clamp your ears with your hands, close your eyes and fall to the bottom of the trench - and die. But no, nothing like this happened, the soldiers simply repulsed tank attacks - one after another. The first attack - twenty tanks, the second - thirty. Panfilovtsy managed to burn half.

As you like, you can count - well, they could not win, could not, because one soldier had two tanks each. But they won. And why - it is understandable. They felt with their whole soul what an oath was. They engaged in simple work, that is, the fulfillment of military duty. And they loved their land, their capital, their homeland. If these three components are present in military people - they can not be defeated. And those who see only errors in the Great Patriotic War, blood and torment, without noticing talent, will, fighting skills, contempt for their own death - they are already defeated.

Today

Maybe this is all - a distant past, and now people are not the same, and the worldview of the people has changed? Another example. The beginning of the 2000th year, Chechnya, high-rise 776 near Ulus-Kert. The sixth company of the landing Pskov regiment blocked the bandits way. They escaped from the heavy bombing of Chechnya - almost the entire army. A few more kilometers, and all the bandits would dissolve in neighboring Dagestan - not to catch. But the whole day our paratroopers conducted an unequal, hardest and unceasing battle with a huge enemy force, not only numerically superior to many times, but also armament.

When it was almost impossible to resist - all were killed or were wounded - the paratroopers caused artillery fire on themselves and did not spare their lives. Of the ninety people, only six survived, and eighty-four survived the military duty, the young, went to immortality. They will always be remembered on a par with the Panfilovites, because they performed exactly the same feat. On March 1, Russia annually lowers the banner in honor of the Pskov paratroopers who died in Chechnya.

Real men

Six bandits attacked a group of tourists in the forest. At a picnic this near to his native village was a young man in the family circle - junior lieutenant Magomed Nurbagandov. At night, the bandits dragged everyone out of the tent and, finding out that one of the tourists was a policeman, pushed him into the trunk of the car, took him away and shot him. All this action the militants of the IG were filmed on video, which, edited, posted on their channels on the Internet. But then the bandits were caught and destroyed. And one of them found a phone where the video was without remarks. Then all the people in Russia found out that real men are still alive today, that they are not empty words for them: they are a military duty. It turns out that the bandits ordered Nurbagandov to transfer his colleagues to the camera, so that they would quit their job and go to the IG. Magomed said at the barrels of rifles: "Work, brothers, and I will not say anything else." And this is a feat.

And a very recent case. The military unit in Chechnya was attacked by terrorists, apparently the bandits needed weapons. They made a sally late at night and tried to penetrate the territory of the artillery regiment. Taking advantage of the dense fog that fell to the ground, they imperceptibly advanced to their goal, but their army attire still caught sight of them. And he immediately joined the bandits in an unequal battle. The fighters did not allow militants to enter the military facility. Six died, but each of them died in the performance of military duty, without retreating a single step. They saved not only the lives of their comrades, but also defended the civilian population, among whom, with such treacherous attacks, there are always numerous victims.

Host

Probably, there is no person in our country who would not have watched Bondarchuk's film "9th Company". This is not so far 1988, Afghanistan, the height of 3234 m, which protects access to the road to the Host. The Mujahideen really want to break through. Strengthened at the height of the ninth company (one-third of its staff at the time hosted the battle), first fired from all types of artillery weapons, including rockets, grenade launchers, mortars. Using the mountain terrain, the enemy got close to the positions of our paratroopers and, with the onset of darkness, launched an offensive from both sides. However, the landing attack was repulsed. During the first battle, Vyacheslav Aleksandrov, a junior sergeant, a machine gunner whose weapons were put out of action, died heroically. Attack followed the attack, each time covered with massive shelling.

The Mujahideen were not counted with losses, and they were dying every minute. From twenty o'clock till three o'clock the night the Soviet landing party sustained twelve such attacks. The ammunition was almost over, but the reconnaissance platoon of the neighboring third landing battalion delivered cartridges, and this small group stood next to the surviving paratroopers of the ninth company in the last and determined counterattack. The Mujahideen retreated. Six paratroopers died. Two became heroes of the Soviet Union - posthumously: it's an ordinary Alexander Melnikov and junior sergeant Vyacheslav Aleksandrov. This was the beginning of the war of our country with international terrorism.

Palmyra

The title of Hero of the Russian Federation was posthumously awarded to senior lieutenant Alexander Prokhorenko, who, having shown unselfish courage and heroism, died a year ago while performing military duty in the remote Syrian Palmyra. And he also died for his country, in spite of the fact that this place is so far from it. Surely he once held in the boy's hands the history textbook for the fifth grade, where the famous arch of Palmyra was on the cover.

Alexander Prokhorenko died for the property of all mankind, for his independence and freedom from the mass, which became international, terrorism, proclaimed by the so-called state of the IG. Correcting the goals for our aviation, Alexander was surrounded and caused fire on himself. And today among the twenty-five year old there are many people deeply feeling the responsibility of the oath and the military duty, which means that there is someone to protect our country.
