As soon as winter comes, we start to search desperately for more sources of vitamins, filling the lack of fresh vegetables and sunlight. If you like a little sweetish dishes - then dried fruits will help you. These dishes are not for every day, but sometimes just incredibly like, for example, meat with prunes, the recipe of which I particularly liked. Of course, preparing this dish will take a lot of time, but, as they say, it's worth it. My first recipe for cooking sweet meat I just won. It was lamb with prunes. Then I used beef, but it was also very tasty.

Meat with prunes. The recipe is classic

Take one kilogram of any meat and to it 150 grams of prunes and 150 grams of onions. You will also need peppercorns, vegetable oil and cinnamon, but cinnamon already at will. You can add carrots, too, not bad, although I did not notice a special effect on the taste. So, where do we start? And start with finely chopped onion. It should be lightly fried in vegetable oil. If you use carrots, then add it after the onion. Cut the fillet into pieces with a thickness of about one centimeter. Pieces can be either small blocks or whole layers of meat. If the pieces are large enough, they should be fried on one side for about three to four minutes, and then turned over. If small - then just stir evenly. In about fifteen minutes, add the prunes and about a glass of water. Then add salt, pepper and cinnamon and leave to stew for another 40 minutes. Then mix and hang for about fifteen minutes. Long, very problematic, but tasty.

Slightly easier pork with dried apricots. First we prepare marinade. Mix red dry wine, pineapple or pear juice in equal proportions, spices to taste, a couple of spoons of honey. You can add mustard and a little soy sauce. Dry the apricot and add it to the marinade. Cut the meat into pieces. Approximately, one piece - one serving, rub it with salt and crammed with cloves, and then leave in marinade for at least five hours (I left for the night). We put the marinated meat into a sleeve for baking, or wrap it in foil, while we carefully coat the meat with dried apricots and pieces of pear (you can have pineapple). Meat with prunes in the foil bake until golden crust at a temperature of 180-200 degrees, and this is about forty minutes. Marinade can be cooked a little, so that it is slightly thickened, and served as a sauce for a side dish. It has a very unusual sweet and sour taste.

This is a very simple recipe for meat with potatoes and prunes like not only me, but also my household. Potatoes are cut into thin slices or straws, onions are semirings, prunes can not be cut. All the ingredients are laid in layers on the bottom of the frying pan: potatoes, onions, a little prunes, a little salt, pepper, and then again potatoes, onions ... There should be at least three layers. There are a lot of potatoes, a little onions, and prunes and just a little bit - five or six berries. All this is poured hot boiled water so that the layers completely disappeared on the water, and set to stew on a small fire for 20-30 minutes. Aroma is fabulous! When serving, you can add a little sour cream.
And you can also cook meat with prunes and mushrooms, although it is rather a festive dish, but sometimes you can pamper yourself on a weekday. In this case, just a part of the potatoes is replaced with mushrooms, which must first be boiled. Mushrooms take in a very strict proportion, otherwise it will not be so delicious: the more, the better.
