The drug "Kombilipen", the indications for the use of which will be given below, is a multivitamin complex. In the composition of the drug is present thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1). This element helps to provide cells with glucose. With its deficiency, the cells deform and increase in size. This, in turn, causes their dysfunction. Pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6) takes part directly in the metabolic processes in the central nervous system. This component provides a normal impulse transmission, is responsible for braking and excitation. B6 is also involved in the synthesis of epinephrine, norepinephrine, the transport of the nerve shell element - sphingosine. Cyanocobalamin (B12) promotes hemopoiesis. The component ensures the formation of choline, the main substrate for the synthesis of acetylcholine, and also participates in the synthesis of nucleic and folic acids, myelin. Cyanocobalamin contributes to the regeneration properties of tissues.

The drug is recommended for neuralgia of the trigeminal nerve, polyneuropathy of different nature (diabetic and alcoholic including). With a pain syndrome against a backdrop pathology, the medication "Kombilipen" is also prescribed. Indications for use in these cases are as follows: lumbosciatica, cervical, radicular, cervico-brachial, lumbar syndrome, intercostal neuralgia. An agent is also prescribed for inflammation of the facial nerve.

Dosing regimen

The drug "Kombilipen" (pills) instruction recommends drinking after eating. Dosage for adults - 1 pc. From 1 to 3 times / day. Duration of admission is determined by the doctor. At elevated dosages, the duration of therapy should not exceed 4 weeks. The medicine "Kombilipen" (injections) is prescribed intramuscularly. The recommended dosage is 2 ml each day. Injections are carried out for 5-7 days, after that - 2 ml not more than 3 times a week. The duration of therapy is determined by the doctor.

Side effects and contraindications

The agent is not prescribed for individual intolerance to its components, during the prenatal period, nursing patients. It is not recommended for patients with cardiovascular insufficiency. Combined use of the drug Kombilipen with Levodopa medicament is not recommended in connection with the probability of a decrease in the therapeutic activity of vitamin B6. Cyanocobalamin is incompatible with heavy metals and their compounds. It is not recommended simultaneous use of the drug "Kombilipen" with sodium phenobarbital, riboflavin, metabisulphite, dextrose. The incompatibility of B1 with compounds that have oxidation-reduction properties (acetate, iodide, mercury chloride and others) is noted.
