"Maybach Excelero" - a German supercar for $ 8 million

"Maybach Excelero" - this is the car that needs no introduction. After all, this model costs 8 million dollars. And most people heard about her. Even those that do not understand the cars. And it's not surprising - after all, this machine was talked for a long time and in detail.

Extra class

Everyone knows perfectly well what amazing cars the German concern Maybach produces. In 2005, this company demonstrated to the whole world that machine, from which it literally took breath. "Maybach Excelero" - this car struck everyone. It was developed jointly with the tire manufacturer Fulda. There was an idea to demonstrate the use of special high-speed tires. And this was later successful.

And as a platform, it was decided to take the Maybach 57 limousine. Interestingly, this was the first time in history when this car manufacturer decided to unite with Fulda. But it's far from the first, when the concern created a car specifically for the demonstration of tires.

The company Fulda came to the maximum responsibility and, therefore, in 2005, a completely new design tire was presented to the audience. And such products were displayed on the exclusive show-car "Maybach Excelero", the photo of which is presented below. Interestingly, students from the Pforzheim Technical College took part in the design.

First impression

"Maybach Escuelero" - a luxury car that can be understood at a glance. This is the real quintessence of the European and international automotive industry. In this model, perfectly match the features of a true supercar and maximally comfortable limousine, belonging to the extra-class. In this machine, absolutely all the advantages and superiority of the German car industry are shown. Looking at such a car, everyone understands why machines from Germany are considered a standard of quality, reliability and luxury.

This is an exclusive car, which can not be overlooked, at least based on its price, which makes one clutch at the head. Eight million dollars is really an incredible cost, which could only be installed on a unique supercar. Further concerning the price it is possible to not make comments on anything.

Appearance

"Maybach Escuelero" looks like perfection. A large radiator grille and air intakes integrated into the front bumper, which is characterized by its power and massiveness, an attractive front splitter - these are features that justify the prohibitively high cost of a car. "Maybach Excelero" characteristics received just superb. Due to the large grille, the air volume increased, and due to the splitter the level of aerodynamics increased. By the way, such innovations were offered by one of the attracted students of the college.

In the eyes immediately cast powerful front wings, which smoothly pass into the side panels, as well as expressive optics and exhaust pipes, which are built into the door sills. In addition, the rear massive wings attract attention, which seem to flow into the diffuser (it, by the way, also contributes to additional aerodynamics and better course stability). The spoiler also looks unusual - thanks to this expressive detail it turns out to be a very harmonious and finished image.

Interestingly, this two-door body is made of panels (steel and aluminum), which are fixed to a frame made of chloromolybdenum steel. The weight of the car is only 2660 kilograms. With quite impressive dimensions, the length is almost six meters (5.89 cm), width - 2.14 m, and height - 1.39 m.

Characteristics

This is another extremely important topic that must be touched upon, talking about such a machine as Maybach Exelero. The technical characteristics of the unit are also impressive. The maximum speed is 351 km / h. Before the "hundred" the car accelerates in just 4.4 seconds. Engine - 700-strong, V-shaped, 12-cylinder, six liters of volume.

The motor is driven by an 8-speed gearbox equipped with a double clutch. Thanks to this transmission all the power of torque is transmitted to the rear wheels. After all, the car is rear-wheel drive.

Interior

This is the last thing I'd like to talk about. Do not even argue, you can immediately say - everything is inside. Absolutely everything that can only be useful. And it's not surprising for a car for $ 8 million. Landing - what can you say about it? To many it seems low. But only people who do not sit inside think like that. Yes, the rear of the car is a bit "tucked away." But landing, even if it is racing, is extremely convenient. Pleasure and bucket racing seats (incredibly comfortable), luxury sports salon, high-quality leather, aluminum, carbon fiber, neoprene. No complaints to the salon. Everything is as exquisite as possible, expensive, beautiful and at the same time comfortable, convenient and ergonomic.
