Home-made marmalade compares favorably with store analogues. In its composition there are no harmful dyes, thickeners and preservatives. Therefore, it turns out not only tasty, but also quite useful. This sweet delicacy is prepared for several different recipes. The most interesting of them will be considered in today's article.

Option with sorbitol

According to this recipe, it is possible to make natural chewing marmalade at home in a relatively short time. With gelatin it perfectly holds the desired shape, so it can be made in the form of any figurines or little animals. This sweet treat does not contain any harmful component, which means that it is ideal for a children's menu. For its preparation you will need:

  • Seventy grams of gelatin.
  • One hundred and forty milliliters of water.
  • Two hundred and twenty-five grams of sugar.
  • Two hundred forty-five milliliters of glucose syrup.
  • Twenty-three grams of sorbitol.
  • Lemon juice.
  • Fifteen grams of tartaric acid.

Process description

This recipe for marmalade at home (with gelatin) is quite simple. Therefore, even an inexperienced mistress, who had never faced such problems before, will easily master it. At the initial stage, you should do gelatin. It is dissolved in water and waited until it swells well.

In a separate saucepan combine glucose syrup, sorbitol, sugar and tartaric acid. After that, the vessel is sent to the stove and heated, constantly stirring its contents. In the resulting homogeneous mass a thin stream of poured out swollen gelatin. All this is once again heated, not boiling, and combined with a small amount of lemon juice. Then the pan is removed from the plate and slightly cooled. At the final stage, the mass from which the delicious home-made marmalade will turn out, carefully poured into molds and sent to the refrigerator. After about four hours, it can be served to the table.

Option with sour cream and fruit

According to the technology described below, a delicious striped delicacy is obtained. It is liked not only by children, but also by people of the older generation. Therefore, it can be safely prepared for friendly gatherings in an informal atmosphere. To make a striped marmalade with gelatin at home, check in advance if there are any required components in your pantry. This time you will need:

  • Twenty grams of gelatin.
  • Pair of oranges.
  • Two hundred grams of sour cream.
  • Two large ripe apples.
  • Fifty grams of powdered sugar.

In addition, you should have a pinch of food coloring orange in your kitchen.

To make you really delicious orange-apple marmalade with gelatin at home, you must strictly adhere to the recommended algorithm. First you need to do the preparation of fruit. The washed apples are cut in half, freed from the core and sent for five minutes into the microwave. After that, the hot fruits are carefully separated from the peel, and the resulting pulp is grinded through a sieve.

The resulting apple puree is combined in one vessel with sour cream and beat well with a blender, gradually pouring half of the available powdered sugar there. The resulting mass is divided into two identical parts. In one half a quarter of the gelatin dissolved in water and swollen is added, poured into a mold and put away for a quarter of an hour in the refrigerator.

Meanwhile, from the oranges squeeze the juice, add to it food color and the remaining powdered sugar. All mixed and divided in half. In one of the parts, a quarter of the swollen gelatin is poured and sent to the mold with the sour cream layer already frozen. All this is again cleaned in the refrigerator, but for thirty minutes. Then all these manipulations with the layers will be repeated again. Before serving, the striped delicacy is cut into small pieces, giving them the desired shape.

Option with honey

According to this technology, it is relatively easy to prepare a useful apple marmalade with gelatin at home. It differs favorably from purchased treats by the fact that it does not contain sugar. In this case, this sweet sand is replaced with natural honey. To pamper your relatives with a similar dessert, make sure that you have all the necessary products at hand. You will need:

  • Five large ripe apples.
  • Half a glass of water.
  • Twenty-five grams of gelatin.
  • Natural honey.

The amount of natural sweetener completely depends on the personal taste preferences of the cook himself and his family members.

Technology of preparation

First of all, you need to do gelatin. It is soaked in cold water and left to swell. Meanwhile, you can pay attention to fruit. The washed apples are peeled and then released from the seeds. Prepared in this way, the fruits are rubbed on a large grater, folded into a suitable saucepan and placed on a stove. Fruit mass stew on low heat for a quarter of an hour, not forgetting to stir occasionally. When grated apples will acquire a beautiful caramel shade, they add honey and grind them through a sieve.

The resulting homogeneous gruel is combined with the swollen gelatin and sent to the stove. It is important not to allow boiling. Then all this is poured into a mold and sent to the refrigerator. Frozen marmalade with gelatin at home for several hours. After that, it is removed from the mold, cut and served on the table.

Variant with berries

This delicious dessert will be a real decoration of any children's holiday. It has a colorful and jelly structure. And in its composition there is no artificial component. To make a bright and fragrant marmalade with gelatin at home, you will need simple and easily accessible products. In this case, you should have in your kitchen:

  • Five tablespoons of sugar.
  • Half a glass of fresh berries.
  • A couple of tablespoons gelatin.
  • Three hundred milliliters of water.

Any fresh berries are suitable for creating such a dessert. Most often, currants, blueberries, strawberries or raspberries are used for these purposes. Sweet, made from peaches, apricots or plums, have good taste qualities. In winter, when there are no fresh berries on sale, mangoes, bananas, mandarins, oranges or kiwi can be used. It is important that the fruits are ripe and have no visible damage.

Preparation of marmalade at home (with gelatin)

Wash fresh fresh berries in a deep saucepan and fill them with a small amount of filtered water. The sauté pan is sent to the stove and boiled for ten minutes. At the end of this time, sugar is added to the resulting compote and mixed well, trying to achieve complete dissolution of grains. All this is boiled for a couple of minutes and is removed from the fire.

Hot berry mass is placed in the bowl of the blender and ground to a puree state. In a separate bowl, pour gelatin, pour it with three tablespoons of boiling water and put it aside. When the mass slightly increases in volume, it is well mixed and combined with berry puree. All this is poured into a saucepan and heated until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Immediately after this, the contents of the vessel are sent to the form and cleaned in the refrigerator. The fruit marmalade stiffens with gelatin at home for at least four hours. Only after that, it is taken out of the refrigerator and cut into small squares or triangles.
