GTD - what is it? GTD on the car what is it?

Many have heard of GTD. What it really is, not everyone knows. TBG stands for cargo customs declaration. This is a unified document, provided to the customs authorities, containing information about the goods being moved and about the person carrying it.

Ways of declaring goods transported across the border

1) Submission to the customs control authorities of a written application. It is made in an arbitrary form and is appropriate in cases where the value of the goods specified in the application does not exceed 100 EUR. One more condition must be observed: the objects to be moved should not be subject to taxation and have restrictions on transportation. In the application it is necessary to indicate the required information:

- the name of the person who carries out the transportation of the goods and its yuradres;

- the name of the goods with the indication of their quantity and codes;

- customs regime.

2) Provision of customs clearance to customs authorities. What is this document and how it is made out, is described further under the text.

Cargo customs declaration: features of filling

The declaration of goods using the TBG is made in the form of a written application containing the necessary information about the goods and the person being transported. It is completed on the forms of TD1, TD2. The first is the main sheet of the cargo customs declaration, the second is the additional one. The procedure for submitting to the customs authorities of the cargo customs declaration, what kind of document it is and how it is filled out, are prescribed in the normative acts of the Cargo Customs Code of the Russian Federation. TD1 includes 4 self-copying sheets.

  • 1 sheet is taken by the customs authorities.
  • 2 - is intended for statics.
  • 3 sheet is a return copy for the declarant.
  • 4 is a regional copy.

When the declaration of goods of several names is carried out, the form TD2 is used, which is an integral part of cargo customs declarations.

Customs clearance and control

TBG: what is this document for the customs authorities? Due to the cargo customs declaration, the customs officers can check the goods that are exported through the Russian border. In addition, the document contains detailed information about the person carrying the goods. Together with the customs declaration, other mandatory documents are submitted to the customs control bodies.

  • The foundation agreement of the enterprise, its Charter.
  • Contracts for the supply of goods transported.
  • Registration documents.
  • Passport of transaction, receipt for payment of customs payments, certificate of availability of foreign exchange, ruble accounts (issued by a servicing bank).
  • Shipping documents.
  • CRM, rail, air waybill or bill of lading (depending on the vehicle that carries the goods).
  • Documents confirming the implementation of measures of non-tariff regulation in relation to goods.
  • TIR Carnet; Document on the control of the delivery of goods.

Cargo customs declaration for car

If a citizen of the Russian Federation wants to register a car of foreign manufacture, he must provide the GTD to the car in the traffic police. What is this, sort out in order. Cargo customs declaration is included in the group of basic documents of customs control when exporting / importing goods. It is issued by the cargo customs official by the cargo manager and certified by the customs inspector. The document is the basis for passing goods across the border. If the vehicle is imported into the Russian Federation by a legal entity, the auto show gives the buyer a certified copy of the GTE. It is important to compare the VIN of the purchased car with the letters, the numbers indicated in the vehicle's passport (PTS). If an error is made, the traffic police will refuse to register the car. When an individual acquires a "fresh" car brought from abroad, in addition to the PTA, she must have a customs receipt. This condition applies to both new and supported foreign cars.

GTE Number

Cargo customs declarations include 4 parts, which are separated by a slash-symbol. This is the GTE number. What is it, how it is designated and what is needed? The first part of the declaration is the number of the customs post. It consists of 8 characters. The second is the date, the format is d / m / g. The TBG contains only the last 2 digits of the year, and not its full designation. The third part reflects the serial number of the cargo customs declaration. It includes 7 digits, the first of which can be replaced by the letter P. The fourth part is the product number in the GTD, consisting only of digits. All four parts together constitute the cargo customs declaration number. It is necessary to control the legal movement of goods across the border.

Importing a car from the Customs Union

When the goods are imported into the territory of the Russian Federation from the countries-members of the Customs Union, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of its customs clearance. The CU includes the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. The Customs Union acts in the form of trade and economic integration, which provides for a single customs zone. Since January 1, 2010, the machine for GTE is imported duty-free from Belarus and Kazakhstan. What does it mean? Cars that are "driven" in the RF from the member countries of the Customs Union must necessarily have a cargo customs declaration. After the issuance of the conformity certificate, imported cars are entered into the customs database. The vehicles issued on the territory of the members of the Customs Union from January 1, 2013 have the status of goods, goods of the Customs Union. They are not subject to customs clearance under the terms of the tripartite agreement.

Do I always have to fill in the CCD?

Cargo customs declaration includes basic and additional sheets. Among them are TD1, TD2 and TD4. The Declaration of Customs Value (TST) is a mandatory annex to the CCD. It is filled in for all objects subject to customs duties, excise payments, VAT. Above was the concept of auto on GTE, what it is. But do you need to fill in the vehicles imported into the Russian Federation? The answer is yes. Exceptions are imported cars, for which it is possible not to fill in the declaration of customs value on the grounds established by legislative acts.

The TTP is not filled in certain cases.

  • The customs value of a commodity batch in the equivalent does not exceed $ 5,000. Such a commodity should not be subject to political measures of an economic nature, excluding cases of its multiple supplies under one contract. This also includes goods delivered by the unmodified sender to the address of one recipient under different contracts.
  • The goods are imported by an individual not for commercial purposes.
  • Cargoes not subject to duties, established taxes.
  • The effect of customs regimes, according to which goods are not subject to taxation.

GTE on the engine

Cargo customs declaration is issued for imported and exported goods. It is necessary to clarify the concept of GTE on the engine: what it is and how it is formalized. The motor is the "heart" of the machine. If the engine (new or second-hand) is imported into the territory of the Russian Federation, it also needs to register a cargo customs declaration. It will serve as a confirmation of the origin of the engine and its customs clearance. GTD on the engine must be submitted to the traffic police when registering a repaired vehicle. In addition, motors must be sold accompanied by mandatory documents. In addition to the TBG, they include a Certificate of Registration, documents on the registration of spare parts in the tax seller, as well as a contract of sale.

Customs clearance of the car designer

Often buyers want to save money and get a designer. This is an ordinary car, which is sawn in half and transported across the border, as spare parts. Next, it is collected to its original form. If the car is imported in this way, it is necessary to make out separately a declaration on the body, as well as a gas turbine engine. What it is? This is an internal combustion engine, which has a unique number that the traffic police will need when designing a new car. Another thing is when the car is imported cut. Here very often the forensics work. They import a sawn car in half without getting a GTE on his body and ICE. Then there is a welding machine with the addition of pieces of iron in the body with numbers from another car. These are illegal actions, which are suppressed in every way by state authorities. In Russia it is not forbidden to import constructors, but it should be done correctly: with the registration of mandatory documents and payment of all duties. Currently, there are 3 ways to import designers:

  • Sawing;
  • Bodywork;
  • The usual designer.
